ABBEY: WILL:  Okay! Okay! I am preparing myself to test if I am really over with my fear of lizards. Small or big I really have a huge fear and disgust over them. So where should I go to face my fear? At a wetland! Sungei Buloh adventure it is!  It is early in the morning I mustered and talked to myself that it is only an animal and man have power over them. Haha! What a self talk! On the gate of Sungei Buloh there’s a huge photo of what to expect inside the park and of course, giant lizards were there!  Upon entering the park, we immediately greeted by a fresh and misty air. Love to be around the nature. The walkway was not that soft as mud. Just perfect for our great adventure.  Sungei Buloh is Singapore’s first ASEAN Heritage Park. It is popular for birdwatchers so please keep your voice down so birds won’t be disturbed. Please do not litter too! ABBEY:  This is the park I wanted to visit when I was in Fernvale. Having an itch to walk and stroll, we decided to go there. We alighted the North-East line at Sengkang and rode the LRT until Farmway station. The place is good and relaxing.  People come here to jog and bike. It has a man-made island in the middle of the river.  At last I have gone and saw what's inside that "purple" fruit :) WILL:   Sengkang doesn't offer just a sports complex but also a park that varies a lot to others.         Sengkang has its own wetlands that homed many species of birds and fishes. This is very nice to jog on. As usual, NPB planted a lot of trees that helps a lot of joggers to screen out the hurtful rays of the sun.         We will never be tired to visit all the parks here in Singapore! Cheers to NPB! We really appreciate all this parks. ;) 

ABBEY:  This is one of the restaurant at Jewel Box. It caters Chinese cuisine. At 33sgd, we got a sample plate of appetizer, soup, main entreé and dessert. We had a three-piece appetizer that includes steamed abalone siew mai, crispy beam curd skin roll, and deep fried taro with diced duck meat.  Double-boiled pork soup is the soup for the day. For main entree I had wok-fried pork ribs with sweet sauce along with seafood mee sua. Chilled mango sago with pomelo is what I got dessert. I was full and and satisfied with the dining experience. The food is great as well as the ambiance. WILL: After our very magnificent ride of Cable Car from Harbourfront we arrived at Mt. ABBEY: This is the La Mesa watershed of SG, actually ONE of the watersheds. I believe they have more than 30 watersheds. Kapos sa tubig ang Singapore. Nagkaroon pa ng time na nag-i-import sila nito from Malaysia. Hindi kayang makapag-ipon ng enough supply ng tubig ang lupa nila against sa demand nila sa tubig. Kaya gumawa sila ng mga ganito. This turned to be a good idea. Kasi naging recreation area din ito. Nature-tripping, fishing, jogging, picnic, trekking and many more. Syempre, libre ang tubig, watershed e. May canteen din sila na open. One day, I'll be able to walk sa HSBC hanging bridge nila. :) WILL:  Forgive me I have sinned. Why? Even a glimpse of La Mesa Dam in Quezon City ay wala, there's an urge to go there but time didn't favored on me.        We went there by train and by bus and of course we are still like a children.. amazed on what we saw. MacRitchie is a very clean and well planned reservoir.     ...
