ABBEY: It is the festive time of the year again as Christmas is fast approaching. And to ride with the mood since its been a long time when we went out with our family, we went to SamboKojin (EDSA) for a buffet. We availed of their promo of 3 plus 1; 1 free for every 3 paying adult.  The restaurant serves Korean and Japanese cuisine. They have crispy and spicy fried chicken, kimchi, ramen, chicken and pork cutlet, tempura and many more. Slices of meat (beef and pork), seafood and salmon for yakiniku.  I like the most is the salmon belly; be it skewered or a slice only. It melts in your mouth after its cooked. Also I ate a lot of these for sashimi. It was totally a feast. Match it with bottomless drinks for less than 100 pesos to wash them down and your set. A buffet costs 750 pesos. WILL:  It is a wonderful time to get together with your family and isn't more wonderful to spend time with your cousins, neph...

ABBEY:  Wow,another buffet:) This is different because you will be the one who will cook. An open stove and a swipe of oil in the pan, then its cooking time. Mixing and  matching whatever recipe we got on the table until our tummy is full. It was a feast. I wanted to sleep after eating :) They charged 650-700php per person. WILL:  My Abbey went back, and the scheduled week of stay was well planned. Monday after work, we straight went to Mall of Asia. There we took the facial and foot spa at Let's Face It, then we pig out at Yaki Mix.   Yaki Mix was a buffet restaurant that offers non-smoke grill. Of course, i enjoyed the fruits and the dessert keep me coming back for more.   If i will go back in here? I think it will be a "no". One is enough.  

Abbey:  Deja vu.. this is Westin Philippine Plaza, right? When we had a wedding coverage in this hotel, I told myself, someday I'll eat at their restaurant. And it happened :) We went there 10 minutes before 11:30am. Takot magutom. Picture-picture muna, sight-seeing. At exactly 11:30, we attacked :) Hindi pa nga handa yung ibang food. I first got pizza and pasta. Sarap nun. Thin crust, pero sobrang daming toppings at ang pasta nilunod ko sa sauce. Next, is pizza again, and beef yakisoba. Sobrang lambot ng karne ng baka. Isang dekada nila yatang pinressure cooker yun. Wagyu beef po yun. I also tried our local Bistek Tagalog, roast pork, grilled pork chop, dimsum. Lastly yung chocolate ice cream. Ang sarap talaga. Kaya talagang bondat ang tiyan ko. Minsan lang naman. Nakatulog pa yata ako sa busog nung nagfi-fix si Wil sa restroom.
