Bintan Resort Ferries Pte Ltd

ABBEY: These ferries are bigger than the one had at our Batam tour. It has an upper and lower deck, a bar and kiosk and comfort room. Videos are shown on board. It's spacious and the windows are clear so you can see the vastness and beauty of the sea. Just like the Batam trip we both got seasickness. Good thing i managed to sleep during the return trip :)

WILL: Wow, this is quite a big one compared the one we had when we go to Batam. Wan Sendari is very big that but it do not have that enough strength to muster the big waves of Singapore and it gave me a real dizziness for the first time on my life and blowed it away.
But do not get me wrong, there is nothing to do with the ferry. Actually all hands are up to its clean and very accommodating staff.
I love the ride but I am hating the big waves.

Bintan Agro Beach Resorts

ABBEY: We bought this 98sgd - 2-day;1-night tour from Groupon. This includes back and forth ferry ticket and land transfers, breakfast, lunch and dinner. All other expenses will be shouldered by the tourists.

We rode the ferry at Tanah Merah. An hour later we were at Bintan Terminal. It took us another hour to reach the resort. I assure you that it is far but it's worth the travel. Upon arriving, we proceeded  at the front desk and ask if we can have an early check-in.

Once we received our room key and the coupons to be used at the resort we went to the room to have our backs and legs stretched. At 12 noon we had our lunch at Sunmoon restaurant which is located 150 meters from the beach. We had nasi lemak, grilled catfish and fruits. After lunch we made an appointment for the spa. A little rest and then we got our massage. Feeling relaxed, we headed to the videoke kiosk and sang a couple of song while waiting for our dinner.

Our dinner is at Asiana restaurant just beside our room. It offers wi-fi so we can still connect from our room. That's a bonus. The restau offers a beautiful view of the sea and the pool. After the dinner we headed to the room and rest.

Breakfast is still at Asiana. I had a big breakfast because it's buffet; fried rice, satays, omelet, fruits, juices and other drinks. We checked out at midday and has lunch before heading back to Singapore. We got an earlier booking a reached home at 6pm.

WILL: Saw this at Groupon and we are very happy to go. This will be our first time to be out of the country as husband and wife and this is a great gift for Abbey's birthday.
Bintan Agro is an amazing resort. A very huge place that caters almost all you need for relaxation and enjoying the nature. The deal is so great. From transportation, accommodation, sea sports and food it was all included.
If you don't feel to splash your way to the waters of the sea, you can soak your body to one of their two pools. Do not want to swim ah, try this their karaoke, fitness centre, take their shuttle service to their sister resort, or play basketball.. these are all for free. you might want to try to roam around their city for $10.
We really enjoyed our 2D1N vacation. Bonding and relaxing to its finest! I really do not know what is with the lands of Indonesia because every time I am here, it just gave me a feeling of very long sleep.
You do not need to exchange your SGD to Rupiah, all their price list is in SGD, but if you have Rupiah they can pay though. Try go in here, the one hour ferry boat and land transfer is worthy!

Oceanic Spa Bintan Indonesia

ABBEY: We gave our aching bodies a trip to the spa when we went to Bintan. The cost is more expensive than the one we had at Batam. Good thing is they have a special offer: Swedish and Thai massage for an hour at 80sgd for two persons. Upon entering the room we were given a robe to change. We chose lavender oil to calm and soothe the muscles. After the session we felt light, refreshed and relaxed.

WILL: This is definitely a must! its been almost 5 months after our last visit in a spa. This is included in our itinerary. This is more expensive, expensive than the deals I saw here in Singapore.
The massage is amazing, they are pressing some points that I think never been  knead by other masseurs. One hour of massage, one hour of pampering.
Here, only here at Bintan I experienced that before a spa they gave us a very cold ginger tea for us to drink. And don't be wary, after the massage a complimentary hot tea will be serve.
Added info, book a day before so you can avail their 10% discount in their services.

ABBEY:
We finally got to taste the donuts of J.Co. Perfect partner is hot choco or coffee. We tried to their glazed and chocolate-flavored and filled donuts before we go back at SG. Price 17000 rupiah.

KFC Indonesia

ABBEY:
I heard Wilma's story about KFC in Indonesia and I'm so glad I tried it. No forks man, wash your hand and eat the chicken. Truly finger-lickin good. The meal cost 17000 rupiah. KFC - Kan't Fork the Chicken :)

WILL: Hmmm, so no one is using spoon and fork to eat chicken and rice. Eh di magkamay. :) I am not astounded by this fact cause when I am in McDonald's Jakarta last 2009 i used also my hand to eat their food.
Here in Kfc Indonesia, the crispiness is quite similar with the branches in Philippines, but they have no gravy. So we just dipped every pieces on their chili sauce :)
I forgot how much i paid but i am sure it valued a hundred thousand each :)

Golden View Hotel Batam

ABBEY: This a 4-star hotel located in the south-west portion of Golden City. We checked in at 6pm after our Batam day tour. Their superior room is a good one, very clean and looks elegant. Queen-size bed,  spacious room, coffee table, and bathtub. We had dinner at the Beer Garden overlooking the swimming pool. Dinner was chicken steak with mixed veggies and orange juice. I had a good night sleep, a very relaxing one.

WILL: It is 4 Star Hotel in Batam. A typical hotel with swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurants, gym, a spa service, but what i really like in them was their very spacious room, their bathtub, the seafood restaurant and a very screaming hot water. I do not know their room rate because it was included in their tour pakage.

A&W Restaurant - Batam Indonesia

ABBEY: Its a missed opportunity when we didn't go for this fast food chain in Nagoya Hills mall, Batam. While we're looking for a place to have lunch in Batam MegaMall, we spotted this. We were ecstatic as we find our table. While Wilma ordered food, I went for a photo shoot spree of the different sings and decors of the chain. Its special because its our initials, A & W :) The food is great. Taste like the one in Pinas. Of course, we wet our lips with their signature ice cream-root beer float. Half of it was wasted though, as it spilled when I put the straw on the mug. :)

WILL: I am not into rootbeer float thats why I am not that excited as much as Abbey when we saw their Megamall Batam branch. I am not also familiar with the taste of their food. Haha! But when I bite in to their fried chicken, so good lah.
Wondering when they can branch out here in Singapore.

Batam Indonesia

ABBEY: We dreamed for this vacation since we were together in Singapore, but time eluded us. So when opportunity came, I grabbed it and booked for a 2d1n package in batam for only 236sgd. We had a 1hour ferry ride from harbourfront centre ferry station to sekupang ferry terminal. It was a time travel. We left Singapore at 8:30 and reached sekupang at 8:30 also because of the 1-hour difference of timezone. We had our SGD exchanged to rupiah. If u want to be a millionaire/billionaire, come to Indonesia :) we began our day tour. On one of our stop, I became thirsty and bought a can of soda for 15000 :) We went to go-kart racing tracks, temples, factory outlets where I bought my Facebook shirt. We had our lunch at Golden Prawn. Imagine I ordered fried chicken at a seafood restau. Haha. Our last stop for the day tour is a 2-hour massage including a body scrub. The day tour is exhaustive but we had a very good time. Our tour guide, Dennis, gave us tips during our trip. I recommend him whenever you will have trips here. The stay in the hotel is good too. They were very accommodating. Also included in the hotel perk is a set dinner and a buffet breakfast. At 12:30, we left the place, had lunch at A&W in Batam Megamall and hot choco at J.Co while we wait for our return ferry. At 5:30, we reached SG.

WILL:
So now, I am in a different time zone and millionaire again. Second time for Indonesia, but this time its for leisure :). And this is my 3rd island. Now, this my very first to be on a guided tour, wala na time magayos ng itinerary.

Ryan Bang as our tour guide. Haha! Ang kulit nya. Nakakatuwa. Then he always ask us to tip over the performers when we like the shows, anyway, who will not tip over the man who eats fire, glasses and even the masseurs.

The tour took us a whole day. We had a body scrub and massage for two hours. Hotel check in, set dinner at the golden view's beer garden then a more than half day sleep. Terima kasih Mr Lapuz for granting this trip.
