ABBEY : Its a missed opportunity when we didn't go for this fast food chain in Nagoya Hills mall, Batam . While we're looking for a place to have lunch in Batam MegaMall , we spotted this. We were ecstatic as we find our table. While Wilma ordered food, I went for a photo shoot spree of the different sings and decors of the chain. Its special because its our initials, A & W :) The food is great. Taste like the one in Pinas . Of course, we wet our lips with their signature ice cream-root beer float. Half of it was wasted though, as it spilled when I put the straw on the mug. :) WILL:  I am not into rootbeer float thats why I am not that excited as much as Abbey when we saw their Megamall Batam branch. I am not also familiar with the taste of their food. Haha! But when I bite in to their fried chicken, so good lah.  Wondering when they can branch out here in Singapore. 

ABBEY: I always get a hug whenever Wilma will say thank you for this bag of chips. They're full of flavor and you will always ask for more. A bag cost less than 4SGD and you can buy it in any grocery islandwide. WILL:  If you will see my room, my desk is always full of bags of chips. Lying on my bed and eating chips while watching tv is my distresser. I do that every night for decades, so its very hard for me change that. And that Abbey's life became complicated Haha! One part of his cabinet was always full of chips and ruffles cannot be out of the list.        Every flavor was a nice one. The blend of salt, cream, and even oil was so good that i cannot stop myself to eat it all. Love ruffles. Love chips. Love abbey :)

ABBEY: I managed to complete a level of this iPhone game. And that was an accomplishment for me after trying so many times. I got frustrated because sometimes my friend gravity don't help me to topple the structure to beat my porky foes. Once is enough, I guess. WILL: I am not angry. I am FURIOUS. Title defines what will happen to you while you were playing this game. How can i manage my temper if the blocks that supposedly be drop and gone is still there. Hellllloooo physics? Ooppps logic na lng, by the force and gravity haayy, very unnatural that some blocks stayed in their places. 1.99USD in buying this application was a waste. Hmp! Hate you pigs! 

ABBEY: We dreamed for this vacation since we were together in Singapore, but time eluded us. So when opportunity came, I grabbed it and booked for a 2d1n package in batam for only 236sgd. We had a 1hour ferry ride from harbourfront centre ferry station to sekupang ferry terminal. It was a time travel. We left Singapore at 8:30 and reached sekupang at 8:30 also because of the 1-hour difference of timezone. We had our SGD exchanged to rupiah. If u want to be a millionaire/billionaire, come to Indonesia :) we began our day tour. On one of our stop, I became thirsty and bought a can of soda for 15000 :) We went to go-kart racing tracks, temples, factory outlets where I bought my Facebook shirt. We had our lunch at Golden Prawn. Imagine I ordered fried chicken at a seafood restau. Haha. Our last stop for the day tour is a 2-hour massage including a body scrub. The day tour is exhaustive but we had a very good time. Our tour guide, Dennis, gave us tips during our trip. I recommend him whene...

ABBEY: I know this is weird. I only ordered less than 10 coffees against the numerous times I went into the cafe. Its not that I went there just to hang out, like others do. Haha. Whenever I go to Starbucks, I buy their signature hot choco or mango passion fruit. I love coming back because of the coffee's aroma. :) Maybe next time I'll try their new "trenta". WILL: In Philippines, everytime me and my friends meet, coffee will always be in our list. There, we just not only share the different aromas of the different flavors of ordered coffee but we also share our updates in our life. We can stay until 3am, hours of laughing and reminiscing. So when we get here in Singapore, this was not taken out of us, not that frequent like in the Manila, but glad that I, Chat and Abbey still shares a coffee moment. Starbucks coffee the taste for me is quite bland. So i always end up adding many cinnamon and vanilla, so i rather have their hot teas. Love their hot te...

ABBEY: This is where we stayed when we were about to meet our "ninongs". It was hot outside the mall, and I'm already sweating. I tried their mango-orange combi juice. It was thirst-quenching. Moments later I knew I'm chilling cold. Haha. I grabbed a bite at Wilma's ice cream sandwich, reminding me of Tivoli's Funwich during my childhood :) WILL:  Blizzarddddddd, this is the fave ice cream of my brother-in-law. But for me, na-a-ah. I rather have their DQ sandwhich. Their flavors are just the same with others the only unique thing they do was to serve it upside down. A cup costs not more than 100 pesos. Their place was too small to accommodate people, so the next best thing is to roam Trinoma with the cup on your hand. 

ABBEY: Not that a fan of signature products but you can't resist if they drop the prices very low. Also, its time for me to buy a new pair of shoes. As we stroll along Vivo, we saw it, looked at the designs, asked for available size, and voila, I have my Kappa shoes. WILL:  San KAPPA? My first encounter to this shop was when I am in China. Then here, last December at Vivo. They marked down their prices to 50SGD per pair. A 1-1 deal. We are looking for a nice shoes then for Abbey when we saw that banner. Very good deal. 

ABBEY: And the dream became a reality. Walking on white sand, feeling the sea breeze, seeing women in bikinis. Hahaha. I got there with my Baby Wilma and my highschool barkada. It was fun. For the first time, we were complete. Sharing life stories, insights, ideas, and other memories we had. The price per person is 3k, excluding the pasalubong. I hope next time will be on Boracay :) WILL: Here we go Puerto Galera. Actually I am not excited to be in here, I am not a stranger to this island. Haha! The exciting part about this tour is to be with my man and my first time to go out with another set of Loyalty barkada. Puerto galera's beach is not good to have a swim, why? You can not anticipate the flow of the waves. But for gimmick? Yeah this is a nice and the nearest beach to go to. Very commercialized and the restaurants along the beach costs too much. ABBEY: This is the 99 store counterpart. But compare to 99 store, Daiso offers almost 6k of different products at 2SGD a piece. From kitchen utensils to office supplies, you name it, they have it. We got here our screen protectors, hamper, super glue, origami etc. We use to go in their branch at Vivo City. WILL:  In search of a nice, durable and cost friendly hamper, we finally found it at Daiso. Everything for SGD2.00. We are always here to find some stuffs. Even our kite was from here. So good to have this kind of shops, para sa mga nagtitipid at kuripot :)

ABBEY:  This was a treat from Chat. Nearest MRT station to the complex is Chinese Garden. You'll buy ticket at self-service kiosks. No camera and food allowed inside. For only a dollar, lockers are also provided to store your belongings. This water park has a wave pool and that's very great :) Sa uulitin, Chat. WILL:  For only a dollar, you can enjoy in their pools and slides. Yes, with "s". Plural. There's an Olympic size pool, jacuzzi, kiddie pool, wave pool.  I am so happy when i saw Abbey enjoys the waves hitting him. Parang bata. Haha! Picture is not allowed for privacy of other people and proper swimwear is a must. 

ABBEY: Spoiler alert. This is a love story mistaken for an action movie. It doesn't mean that it lacks action, it has. But it was her love for Alexander that made the story. You can also see Capt. Jack Sparrow as he rescues his true love. Very well portrayal of the characters. You can try to see it in Director's choice seat for 30SGD at Eng Wah (Suntec City)   WILL:  Wow, Angelina and Johnny Depp. When i saw the trailer, hmmm, okay. I am not interested in their film but when I saw facebook post from our HS classmate, Sheila, we decided to watch it.  This reel will push your mind to have a definite conclusion that AP is the man who is always there and giving Angelina a note. Who would think that this sophisticated woman is an undercover. Nice twist.

ABBEY: We had our New Year's eve dinner here. I ordered chicken karaage. It was served in a bento. The diner, with a homey-feel ambiance, was jam-packed because of the holiday. The food is good. Now I know the initials MOF printed on the shirts of their staff. :) The staff was also accommodating. Our dinner was priced at 32SGD. Welcome 2011. WILL:  At the underground of suntec towers and around the fountain of wealth, there lies many food establishments to choose from. Almost an hour walking to make a dinner reservation for new year's eve, i landed here at MOF.  I ordered of course my favorite in japanese cuisine, curry rice. There is no distinctive flavor to other japanese restaurant, but its okay. Their place is relaxing and the pinoy staffs were very nice. :) Happy 2011. 

ABBEY:  Its so nice to savor Pinoy food once in a while. That's why we never let the opportunity pass when we set our foot at Lau Pa Sat. We went to Mang Kiko. They're serving grilled liempo, pork and chicken barbecue. Every order comes with a bowl of soup. Very Pinoy talaga. Salamat po.   WILL:  I just found out that our office is just few blocks away from lau pa sat and hurriedly excited to tell  to abbey  that findings. Haha! After work, he went to our office and walked our way to that place. So many food to choose from but of course we will buy what our taste buds are looking for, the filipino dishes :) As usual we ordered liempo for 6SGD, this came with a face quenching suka and a soup. Yum yum, sa uulitin :)

ABBEY:  Wow,another buffet:) This is different because you will be the one who will cook. An open stove and a swipe of oil in the pan, then its cooking time. Mixing and  matching whatever recipe we got on the table until our tummy is full. It was a feast. I wanted to sleep after eating :) They charged 650-700php per person. WILL:  My Abbey went back, and the scheduled week of stay was well planned. Monday after work, we straight went to Mall of Asia. There we took the facial and foot spa at Let's Face It, then we pig out at Yaki Mix.   Yaki Mix was a buffet restaurant that offers non-smoke grill. Of course, i enjoyed the fruits and the dessert keep me coming back for more.   If i will go back in here? I think it will be a "no". One is enough.  

ABBEY: I didn't play this game. I'm afraid being eaten by zombies. I'm always in panic mode whenever they're near on my plants. I can't analyze what to do. Good thing is that Wilma managed to finish it. She doesn't want the 3.99USD investment to be wasted. WILL:  Early last year, almost everyone i know is playing this game. And as usual, i do not care. Ha! So i am out when Denise and John talking about their plays and moves. 10th of April, i am expecting to have my new iTouch, kapalit ni Zeny, but when i got to the hotel to celebrate my bday, i was astounded to have an iPhone 3GS, and the color, a lovely white. Plants vs Zombies was already purchased and installed. Thats when the addiction started.   What i can get from playing this game? Strategy and decision making. I even finish the game first than Denise. :)  

Ingredients: macaroni elbow chicken breast/fillet chicken broth cube onion garlic carrot evaporated milk STEPS: Saute the garlic and onion. Then add the chicken. Add the macaroni elbow. When the oil covers the macaroni, add water and bring it boil. Check if the macaroni is al dente. Put in the broth cube and season to taste. Put milk before serving. Enjoy. WILL: So tired in coping up with the working environment. Time out was 1130pm. Hailed a taxi and went home not thinking to take some food in my mouth, I just want to lay on my bed and snooze off. At parking lot, Abbey told me to have some dinner, who am I to refuse?        On the table, I saw Sopas.. OMG. I just need soup for a rainy and cold evening. The sopas is so good, so milky.        Love honeybunch!

ABBEY: I'm trying to search a present for Wilma. I checked almost all the gift shops but no luck. Then I remember, she told me she's having problem sleeping. I happened to see this bear on a toy shop. The character is named "Bedtime Bear". Mata pa lang nakakaantok na. :) I told her to look at it so she can also fell sleepy. I'm glad she liked it. Sweetdreams, baby. WILL: I have a collection of these cute little bears when I was a child. Tanda ko pa yung electric fan nmin maraming nakadikit n stickers nito. Sobrang fan din ako ng tv series nila. hehe.       As years passed, nakalimutan ko na rin sila. Abbey is so crazy to bought me something like this, kasi talagang kinilig ako. Hehe. All the memories from my collection came back, watches, crayons, barbies, storybooks and kurang-kurangan. and the taught of it, they are so many tlaga. Kasi when I was a child, bili mo ako nun - bili mo ako nyan, in exchange of grades. hehe.       Love bein...
