Kenangan Coffee Singapore: Affordable Premium Spanish Latte

ABBEY: If you’re like me and have noticed Kenangan Coffee shops popping up everywhere, you’re probably wondering what all the buzz is about. I recently decided to satisfy my curiosity by downloading their app, which came with a nice bonus—a discount on their popular Creamy Aren Latte.

True to its name, the Creamy Aren Latte is rich and silky smooth. It has the perfect blend of sweetness and bitterness that makes each sip truly enjoyable. The temperature was just right, allowing me to savor every taste without it being too hot or too cold. If you’re looking for something equally comforting, I’d also recommend their D Spanish Latte—it’s warm, smooth, and has a subtle sweetness that makes it a perfect pick-me-up.

The atmosphere at their Sengkang branch is cozy and inviting, ideal for catching up with a friend or simply enjoying some quiet time with a delicious coffee. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just in the mood for a relaxing space to unwind, Kenangan Coffee offers a great experience.

Tomoro Coffee Singapore: Aren Latte Review for only SGD0.88

ABBEY: If you’re a coffee enthusiast always on the lookout for new options, meet Tomoro Coffee—the latest contender in the coffee space. With a promotion that’s hard to resist, you can enjoy your first cup for just 88 cents when you sign up, which is 11 cents cheaper than similar offers from competitors.

I decided to give it a try and ordered the Tomoro Aren Latte at this incredible price. Admittedly, I picked an iced latte on a rainy day (not my best decision weather-wise), but it turned out to be a delightful surprise. The latte was velvety smooth and left me wanting more with every sip. Unlike some coffees that leave a bitter or burnt aftertaste, Tomoro’s blend is perfectly balanced and pairs wonderfully with milk.

To elevate your coffee experience, pair your drink with one of their pastries, wraps, or cakes. It’s the perfect match for a cozy coffee break or an on-the-go treat.
Ready to try it out? Grab your first Tomoro Coffee for just $0.88 with their ANYDRINK voucher. Simply sign up and use the referral code 3QRAKJ during registration.

Arteastiq De Patio : A Portmanteau of Art & Tea

ABBEY: We went to try Arteastiq. They have these teas in perfume bottles which kind of unique. The restaurant also has great homey feel. I got their cod fish and chips. I was surprised that the fish taste good. Not your usual fish that gets the flavor from the batter. The perfume-bottle tea live to the hype; not only aesthetically but also in taste.

WILL: I got curious on their perfume e tea. So we booked a table.

Haha! Quite fond of burrata cheese lately so I ordered their Peach Spinach Salad. The spinach leaves are quite fresh and their salad dressing is the real star of this food. Burrata is colder than I expect and the inner portion is not that creamy and on its way to be solid. Sad!

Then the Lychee Ooling Tea! I do really enjoyed drinking this. Not too sweet and lychee do not overpower the tea taste. It is indeed a perfume. The aroma is inviting you to sip more. Haha! It is so tefreshing for the whole body! Lovvve it!!

Please don’t forget to book a table if you do not want to join a long queue. Tea is well recommended. Thumb up!

Matahari Cafe at Nongsapura Ferry Terminal

ABBEY: Before departing from Indonesia, we had lunch at Matahari Cafe; one of the places to dine at Nongsapura Ferry Terminal.

I got Nasi Lemak. Nothing extraordinary and almost the same taste of Nasi Lemaks I had in Singapore. But the chili is better than the one in Turi Beach resort.

The whole restaurant is smoking area so be ready to be a second-hand smoker :)

WILL:
This is the only restaurant in Nongsapura Pier. This is where we took our last meal on that trip, a lunch.

I ordered fish curry and to wash it down I requested for hot red velvet.

I expect too much on their red velvet. Frustration sank in when I felt the powdery substance in my drinks. Argh! Lucky enough, my fish curry met my "spicy" level. The curry is not that creamy on the photo but it is delicious.

I looked on to Abbey for him to order me a cola and he finished my hot red velvet. Haha!

Be warned! This is smoking cafe!

KFC Indonesia

ABBEY:
I heard Wilma's story about KFC in Indonesia and I'm so glad I tried it. No forks man, wash your hand and eat the chicken. Truly finger-lickin good. The meal cost 17000 rupiah. KFC - Kan't Fork the Chicken :)

WILL: Hmmm, so no one is using spoon and fork to eat chicken and rice. Eh di magkamay. :) I am not astounded by this fact cause when I am in McDonald's Jakarta last 2009 i used also my hand to eat their food.
Here in Kfc Indonesia, the crispiness is quite similar with the branches in Philippines, but they have no gravy. So we just dipped every pieces on their chili sauce :)
I forgot how much i paid but i am sure it valued a hundred thousand each :)

A&W Restaurant - Batam Indonesia

ABBEY: Its a missed opportunity when we didn't go for this fast food chain in Nagoya Hills mall, Batam. While we're looking for a place to have lunch in Batam MegaMall, we spotted this. We were ecstatic as we find our table. While Wilma ordered food, I went for a photo shoot spree of the different sings and decors of the chain. Its special because its our initials, A & W :) The food is great. Taste like the one in Pinas. Of course, we wet our lips with their signature ice cream-root beer float. Half of it was wasted though, as it spilled when I put the straw on the mug. :)

WILL: I am not into rootbeer float thats why I am not that excited as much as Abbey when we saw their Megamall Batam branch. I am not also familiar with the taste of their food. Haha! But when I bite in to their fried chicken, so good lah.
Wondering when they can branch out here in Singapore.
