25 Degrees Burger, Wine & Liquor Bar Lunch Deals

ABBEY: 25 Degrees has always been on my list but didn’t got a chance to dine as it is always out of our way. However an opportunity came up when we were near the vicinity.

We went there as soon as it opens and ordered Burger Number One (beef patty, caramelized onion, bacon). This came with fries and a milkshake (chocolate for me please).

The patty is moist and juicy and my indulgence was completed with a creamy and decadent chocolate milkshake. Who counts the calories right? Please allow the kitchen to prepare your meal though so have a chat with your someone while waiting.

25 Degrees Burger, Wine & Liquor Bar : Veggie Burger

25 Degrees Burger, Wine & Liquor Bar : Burger Number One

WILL: We went out to Rediscover Singapore and one of goal is to look out for the magnificent murals from Tiong Bahru, Haji Lane and some at Little India. Of course, rediscovering sites at Singapore means we need to lunch out too. Haha! Instead of going to malls for a lunch, we checked out the burgers at 25 degrees.

25 degrees is located at the foot of G Hotel (near Bugis) and I ordered their Veggie Burger. Am I bad if I will say that I am expecting 25degrees that they will be the same as the fastfood chains? To my surprise so far, their veggie patty is the best that I ever had!

It is not dry! Now I know what the “real” veggie burger should taste. You will be aware of what’s inside, you can still see
some of the leaves grounded into a patty. It’s green color patty is appetizing and gives a guilt-free eating of a burger. Haha! What makes it extra special? Their 1-for-1 milkshake on Wednesdays. Oh my! The thick vanilla milkshake is an extra treat!

Check it out!

Burger+ - Wisma Atria Branch

ABBEY: We went to Burger+ (Wisma Atria) branch but we backed out as the waiting time for a takeaway order is 2 hours. I saw my wife became sad. So on an ordinary day, I placed an order and boy she was surprised when she saw the food.

Actually it was not a surprise afterall as she saw my placement in my mail.

We got Bulgogi Hotdog (Pork), Vege Cheeseburger, and Korean Bulgogi burger. All those came with fries and drink. I like the packaging as it is very presentable even after delivery. It protected the food specially the fries. Speaking of fries, the truffle fries is flavorful and fragrant. You need to eat them as soon as you can as they will be hard if you keep it a long time. The burgers are juicy, moist and got the grilled taste.

You can never ask for more tomato or lettuce. They are all packed in the sandwich. Ready your dough as this will cost you.

WILL: Covid-19 gave a threat not only in tourism sector but also on food industry. You can’t dine in your favourite restaurants! Oh my! What’s the next step? Order a delivery!

Since every restaurant is only relying on food delivery and pick-up many of them came up with different promotions. One of them is Burger+.

Surprised me with a delivery. He ordered a pork bruger for me and a truffle fries. The pork burger is succulent yet not overcooked. The toasted bun has a distinctive taste of butter. The bag of delivery will be overwhelmed by the aroma of truffle fries.

It is indeed a treat for me! Facebook you won again! We ordered one of your sponsored ads! Haha. And of course, I want to shout to the world that until now my husband loves to surprise me.

Will we dine in to
Burger+? Yes! We will do 🙂

VeganBurg - Singapore's Vegan Fast Food

ABBEY: Video Review

WILL: After Abbey's talk, we finally addressed his cravings with burgers. But because we want to lessen the unhealthy intake of this kind of food, we went to VeganBurg to eat burger without any hint of guilt!

I ordered Avocado Beetroot Burger. The burger is huge and good thing they have this hand washing area. You will eat it messily good. Haha!

So how was it? I enjoyed the crunching of avocados, lettuce and the taste of beetroot. The patty is dry and the supply of sauce inside the bun is too little. I enjoyed the fresh fruit and veggie but not the patty. Sorry!

You can have a bottomless drinks if you check-in and tage VeganBurg. I love to have another cup of ginger lemonade, it reminds me of spas who are offering this kind of hot version drink.

Oh, this is not my kind of taste.

Wolf Burgers (Changi City Point)

ABBEY: We tried to have snack at the Wolf Burgers (Changi City Point). They brought back their waffle promo. A set of waffle with ice cream comes with a coffee. I got Espresso Caramel Waffle with Coffee Ice Cream and cappuccino for (SGD8.90).

The waffles are crispy in the outside but soft in the inside and it goes well with the ice cream. Each bite is being washed down with a sip of hot coffee.

Perfect for that gloomy, cold afternoon.

Wolf Burgers - Miso Tofu Veggie Burger

Wolf Burgers - Waffle and Cappuccino

Wolf Burgers (Changi City Point) - MENU
WILL: I go to Abbey's office once in a blue moon. And every now and then, I go there with a very hungry stomach. I have Mamma Mia on my head to dine in but unfortunately they only have kiosk that sells pizza for takeaway. Beside them is Wolf Burgers.

Wolf Burgers caught my curiosity on their miso tofu veggie burger ($9.90), Abbey got that for me and matched it up with fries and cola.

The texture is smooth BUT miso made the tofu too salty. Avocado somewhat stabilized the saltiness but the quantity of avocado is not enough to mask the strong taste of miso. When is totally unbearable for me, I requested Abbey to swap so I can get some sweets from his waffle.

Working Title - Burger Bar (Arab Street)

ABBEY: This is where we dined before going to 2016 River Festival. It is in Arab St.

While checking their menu, their The Working Title Tower of Power really caught my attention. Its entry occupied one whole page of their menu. Two burger patties, tater tots, cheddar cheese, caramelised onions with barbecue sauce and serving of fries. Who wouldn't want that?  But it comes with a high price of 24 SGD.

It took time before my order reached my table which I understand. Maybe I expected that if you something a tower, it will be tall. The burger stand a 6-7 inch tall.

I don't like the burger patty. It is not even close to a beef patty. It looks like the vegan version. The texture is rubbery and your finger will bounce back when you poke it. Not the burger I'm expecting. The cheddar cheese somehow compensated for my disappointment.

Working Title Burger Bar Ice Cream Burger

WILL: Abbey! Oh Abbey!

We went to the famous street that is just on the corner of Bugis MRT, do you know where is it? Correct! Haji Lane.

Gosh! There are too many cafe and all loaded with people merrymaking due to the weekend. We can't find a serene place that time and googled "best cafe at Haji Lane". In an instant, we saw the Working Title Cafe.

We make our way to Arab Street and found the site. It is quieter than the other cafe and without hesitation we settled in there.

I am quite full so I just went for dessert. I ordered Ice Cream Burger ($9.00). It is picture perfect. The taste? For me, the ice cream was nicely combined with their fried bun. I would suggest to eat the ice cream and bun together. The bread cannot stand alone. It is too oily and your brain will alert you that it is not good for your health. Haha!

I am quite satisfied with my desert but will I come back? Nope!

BurgerUp (We Are Made Different) - Waterway Point Punggol Branch

ABBEY: I found this promotion when I was looking what to eat for our movie date. It comes with a chicken burger, fries and a drink. You need to place your order at the kiosk, get your order receipt and then queue at the cashier for payment. They only accept cash and NETS (if bill more than 10SGD). They have a post on the wall that the order will take 10-15 mins. Just wait for your number and you're up.

I was surprised that even I only started to eat the burger 30 minutes after ordering, the chicken is still crispy. It was packed in a foil wrap. Not your ordinary burger huh.

I hope they can accept credit card payments and it should be done in the kiosk itself so the number of queuing will be lessened.

BurgerUp' Crispy Chicken Burger Meal

BurgerUp (Waterway Point Punggol Branch) Promotions

WILL: I am a bit skeptical to buy their $3.80 Chicken Burger Meal. Why? They are located just beside McDonald's at Waterway Point, so instead of exploring new brand, I rather went for the "safe" taste. But when Abbey bought a set of BurgerUp's Chicken Value Meal, I can't get enough of its taste.

For promotion price $3.80 you will get a Crispy Chicken Burger, Fries and a small soda. The difference from other fastfood chains? The price! Haha! And of course the incredible crispiness of the chicken inside the bun. It has a distinctive flavor on the rest of food stalls that offers the same. It is a fantastic taste.

If you are on a hunt for affordable burger, queue up! Yes! There is always a queue at BurgerUp. See you again on Sunday, BurgerUp!

Wildfire Burgers + Bar Singapore - 313@Somerset

ABBEY: We visited Wildfire Burger at 313 Somerset near Marché.

The house is almost full. I got The Works burger; beef patty, bacon weave, onion rings, and fried egg. It also came with fries. The fries has smoky flavour which give the unique taste. What I enjoyed the most is the beef patty. It was so moist that the juices is coming out whenever I cut it into chewy bites.

We only pay 34SGD as we have 20SGD voucher from the mall.

WILL: We got a $20 voucher, free, when we avail the package of Symphony Spa. And just before it expires, we went to 313@Somerset to redeem it. We chose to dine at Wildfire Burger.

We didn't call for reservations and we are quite shocked that the tables were reserved. Just in luck, we got seat to take. Ahmm, should I say high seat...high chair and high table, haha!

Abbey chose burger for me, and he picked truffled mushroom ($23). Burgers arrived and we were so happy to see the juices flowing out of the meat while we are slicing it.

The taste is awesome! This is not your ordinary hamburger place. Aside for awesome food they got impressive people too. They will asked you how do you do for the day, is everything ok with your meal, do you enjoy your food. Yes! They care!

Thanks for a total experience people at Wildfire! Totally recommended for a date night.

Burger Joint Singapore – NYC Burger

ABBEY: Ok. This New York burger joint is unusual with respect to the entrance of the store. Its address is 115 Amoy Street but you have to go at the back (Gemmill Lane) to enter. You will not be lost just follow the neon sign. It was raining when we visited but the ambiance is cozy and homey.

We got hamburger, bacon cheeseburger, fries and Dr. Pepper soda for 44SGD. It was expensive compared to others. Make sure to make up your order before you queue or else you'll go again at the end of the line. They even have post on the wall for that. Lucky us as there is no queue so we took all the time we want.

Choose your burger, doneness of the patty, vege (you can say "The works" if you want all), sides, drinks, and then you pay. Wait for your queue number to be called and then enjoy your food. The beef patty is juicy and moist and their serving of fries is big. There are also markers so you can write messages on the wall. My mistake is that I didn't order the Doubles. But still it is a nice experience.

Bacon Cheeseburger

WILL: If you can only see Abbey's list of restaurants he wants to dine in, you'll be shocked. It is a long list of diners that I never heard of. Haha!

Anyways, this review is all about the Burger Joint of NYC newly opened here in Singapore. It was located in not so obvious place and have black door with a glowing hamburger sign. No words or even a single letter..just a burger sign.

We walked in and viola! There is an almost packed area. Kids will love in here, they are not prohibited to right on anywhere. Just request colored pens at the counter.

So how's the food? Hmmm, there is nothing unusual on its taste. The size is just the same with other fastfood burgers. The price? You will spend $$ in here.

Been there and tried it! Am I going back? Not so soon...

McDonald's Singapore - Angry Bird's Super Red Burger

ABBEY: I was amazed when I saw the ad of Mc Donald's about their new burger in relation with Angry Bird The Movie. It was a red burger.

Wow, what does it taste like? One night we had it delivered. Lo and behold, a red burger. And when it is red, it means hot. The spicyness is kicking because of the pepper mayo. And the red bun? Well it is tastier than the other regular buns. The burger contains all these; chicken, lettuce, tomato, and egg.

WILL: My lady boss told me that there is a new burger unveiled by McDonalds and it has coloured red buns. Curious of the taste, one night Abbey and I decided to make a McDo Delivery and I deliberately ordered for Angry Bird Burger.

I took a bite then sipped almost half of the large coke! The fiery pepper mayo sauce is way too spicy for my preference. The ending? We swapped our food.

At least I know how spicy it taste. Hehe. Good job McDonalds Singapore in innovating your products! Now I am wondering what will be the next flavor they will offer? I love you Mcdo Delivery! Mmmwah!

The Burger Bar @ Marina Square Shopping Mall (by Fatboy's Concept)

ABBEY: This is where we had our Christmas dinner. We visited their branch at Marina Link. I got this huge burger Double Bacon Double Cheeseburger with fries and drink for 17.50SGD. It was delicious.

The bacon-meat patty is a great combo. My jaw got tired of chewing. It took me time to finish the whole meal. It is amazing how to put your order. Go to one of the tablets, choose from their variety of options, go to the cashier and pay.

They will give you your electronic "coaster" and wait for it to light. Voila, your meal is ready.

WILL: Everybody are feasting on wide selection of food that time, Abbey and I is at the Burger Bar at Marina Square to feast on their delectable burgers.

I went for Swiss Shroom Combo ($15.00). Oh darling! It is humongous. Does it met our qualities to a burger? Yes! A thick and juicy and milky tasted patty. The price is just the same as other fastfood chain. Another addition to out list. I want to commend their ordering pattern. Pretty systematic.

If you around the Marina Bay area, just drop by in here.

The Original Little Hiro Singapore - Hawaiian-Japanese BBQ & Grill

ABBEY: So before we go north of Singapore, we decided to visit our friend's workplace and dine there. She works in Little Hiro. It is a Hawaiian-Japanese restaurant at King's Arcade; a 15-minute walk from Botanic Gardens MRT station.

I got one of their recommended items which is Waikiki burger; burger plus ring of pineapple, and bacon. It comes with fries and drink. I really like the taste of fries as it is "garlicky". To top of it all, I also ordered Spam fries. Beware not too eat too much, it'll be too salty. Maybe they can include other flavor of Spam and make fries out of it.

WILL: Innovation is not just for technologies but also for our daily food. After trying a pancake used as a bun for a burger now we tried noodles instead of bread on our burger.

Welcome to Little Hiro! A chic place and maybe the reason why the students happily spend their meal time in here. Just a few steps from Botanic Gardens.

We were there to celebrate our move out from Mt Sinai Rise. We want it to be memorable for all of us. So we decided to dine in here with our housemate's father.

After 15 minutes of waiting Chicken Karaage Ramen Burger ($10.20) is in my table. When I have the first bite of the the noodle it seemed that my tastebuds transported me to Japan. The taste of ramen blends well with chicken. Abbey ordered Spam Fries ($4.80). That is too oily and salty for me.

Would I go back for more? Of course! With no hesitation! I Love Ramen Burger! FTW!

Fat Cow Palace - Chinatown

ABBEY: Big burgers are a craze nowadays. Just like Zark's burger in Philippines. Singapore's Fat Cow Palace in Temples Street (nearest MRT is Chinatown - Purple Line) offers a wide variety of burgers on their menu.

As promotion, for only 9.50sgd, you can get a whole burger meal; big burger, fries, and a drink. I got the beef burger instead of chicken. The best part is that the beef pattie is not ground, it is pulled. Yes, just like the corned beef is made. The presentation is awesome. It was served in a chopping board, with side salad, burger in the middle and the fries were in a cute little fryer. The burger tastes somehow close to a Malaysian-kind of taste, but it was good.

WILL: Looking for something that value the worth of your money? Go to the voucher sites like Groupon and Deals.com.sg and for sure you can see cheap finds there.

Direct from office, we headed straight towards the Fat Cow Palace which just a street away from Chinatown MRT station. I asked for Crispy Chicken Tower Burger Set.

In a burger business nowadays, if you do not present your food nicely, taste is just a norm and not in reasonable price, you will be doomed to failure.

After almost half an hour of waiting, the huge burgers and fries is in front of us. I know it will be a messy dinner for me. :) Their fried slab of chicken inside is really crispy and tasty. Their fries is so thick.

If you're just around the area of Chinatown, don't forget to drop by at Fat Cow Palace Restaurant at Temple Street.

GRUB - Café, Breakfast & Brunch Restaurant at Bishan Park Singapore

ABBEY: Grub is one of the restaurant that gives you a relaxing view. Set inside Bishan Park, you will get refreshed with the lush greens in the pond and trees.

Be patient as there will be lot of people like you who wants to taste their food. Once there, no need to queue. Just leave your number and they will call you once your table is ready. Enjoy walking on the park as you wait. I got their Grub Cheeseburger for 13 SGD along with fries. We take away the order as I needed some sleep after a night's shift.

The burgers are heavy which means they're big. At home, we confirmed it. They're huge. The taste? The patty is delicious, smells good and flavourful. Nothing special about the fries but a good partner to the burger.

WILL: Grub set a giveaway on their facebook page last 26th of July. This is for the lucky 20 people to taste for free their 49thSingapore’s birthday offering.. the special edition of Chilli Crabcake Burger. Yes! Abbey is lucky and blessed! He won! Due to hectic schedule, we went there on the last day to claim the voucher, 10th of August, Sunday. Gosh, the place was full and people keep on coming to key-in their handphone number to be queued. Then we decided to take-away our orders. After 25minutes, we got on our hand burgers and fries, then we headed back home.

We ate it for our late dinner, around 10PM. We re-heat it but the freshness of crabcake is still intact. They say it is spicy, but not for me! Haha! Maybe they did not put enough chilli sauce to my sweet crab burger. But the taste is still awesome.

I am really quite frustrated to myself why we never went there early to avoid the long queue. Their site is very relaxing. A very good way to spend Sunday morning.

Thanks Grub! We will definitely grab again some bites on your shop!

Chili's Singapore 4th Annual Big Mouth Burger Day

ABBEY: This is the third time we joined Chili's Burger Day. And again the burgers are priced at 8.88. We've learned our lessons on the first two that we attended. We went there early and we were given a table a couple of minutes on the queue.

Upon sitting, we placed our order as we anticipated that it will take time for preparation. We were wrong; few minutes after ordering, our food came. We were surprised as they delivered the burgers fast but we were more surprised that the burgers is not that freshly-made anymore; as if that they were prepared beforehand. Good thing is that the burger still tasted good and the fries somehow compensated our disappointment.

Looking forward for the next Burger Day and hoping that they look into more customer satisfaction and more branches to hold the event.

WILL: Every 5th month of each year I am always keeping an eye for Chili's Big Mouth Burger Day. It was held every June. Why I love to participate in it? Except for the big discounted price of $8.88 (UP $25++) this event is a feast. A very lively day. You can see people queuing and enjoying their meal.

Again, for the second time, we redeemed our burger at Chili's Sentosa. I ordered the Southern Smokehouse Bacon Burger and for not more than 15 minutes our burgers were already on our table. Chat and I availed the 1-for-1 margarita for our drinks.

Sighhhh. The burger was served cold. The meat oozing with its own juice was all gone..so dry. Maybe they cooked the patties before that hour to prevent a long waiting time. The margarita served to my friend have a small moth. We asked the attendant about it and maybe that was the  branch manager who looked again on my friend's glass and she nodded for a replacement.

Anyway, we will still wait for this yearly event. A very lively and tummy fulfilling day. Hoping to have my medium rare beef that time.

Griddy Gourmet Waffles - Aloha Hawaiian (Westgate Branch)

ABBEY: Wilma told me that Griddy has their promotion for their waffle delights; 50% off on their sandwich-of-the-day. Thinking that it was a whole day event, I planned to go there at 4:30 so the waffle will still be hot by the time Wilma goes home. Unfortunately it was a lunch offering :( I missed the burger but went there the next day for an Aloha Hawaiian waffle.

It is a chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes and pineapple. A meal includes criss-cut fries. The fries are flavorful and the pineapple brought sweet-tangy taste to the chicken. Having a waffle as a bun is unusual but it complemented the fillings well.

WILL: Before the International Waffle Day 2014, Griddy Gourmet Waffles at Westgate offers a 50% discount on their Griddy Burgers.

Tuesday lunch time, Abbey bought Aloha Hawaiian for our dinner. No time was wasted when I saw the burger before me. This will be my first time to have this kind of stuff.

Rather than using a bun, they used waffle to sandwich the meat inside. So what's the score?... This is is LOVE! Haha! The sweet waffle compliments the big, juicy, chicken meat. Mango salsa added a magic and another secret to tell, I do not eat pineapple so Abbey just took it off.

This called simple pleasures! Hey you can try their desserts too! Click here for their menu!

Triple-O's Singapore - The Star Vista Branch

ABBEY: Wilma wanted to have a taste of this Canadian burger. So one day after my shift, we didn't have food at home an I'm too lazy to cook, I asked her to meet me in Star Vista. She was excited when I told her we'll be dining in Triple O's.

The diner is unique. Unlike the usual burger joint clad with red and yellow colors (this is to entice the eyes so you'll feel hungry and eat), this is donned with green and white. They're boasting that their burger are made-to-order and behold they are. You need to wait to sink your teeth on that "medium-rare" beef patty. The fries are indulging as well. It was a good dinner.

WILL: Are you in budget but you want a very tasty hamburger.. hamburger that was served to famous hotels? Well, you are in luck if you are just around the Buona Vista area.

Triple O’s was originated at Canada and branched out in Hong Kong, China, and Singapore. Well, so lucky indeed. I saw their Star Vista branch and 2012, I asked Abbey to set a date for him and I to dine in there. And you know what? Year passed and that’s the only time he set a dinner for me on that diner. It’s our 5th year anniversary as boyfriend and girlfriend.

Order and they will cook for you… freshly out from the pan. I asked for Original Combo. Shocks the meat is lovely. So juicy and the beef taste delicious! Their place is not so crowded and you can relax your stressed out mind.

Now we add up another diner to our list! Thanks Triple O’s! More more juicy burger to eat!
