Eng Wah Cinema

ABBEY: This is the first time we went to Eng Wah after the renovation. We bought tickets for Captain America. The sound is great, theater is clean, and ushers are polite and always smiling. Tickets and movie can be bought on the same counter.

WILL:  We've seen the old one and we were there to check-out what they had renovated. Hmm. The new designed lobby has a feeling that the moviegoers are more welcome, unlike before.. the old one was bit gloomy. Only one queue for ticket and snacks, more convenient. The sounds? Superb! The video?, thankful for the quality. Oh, i forgot the snack, its more costly and not so good with others. 

Just Go With It

Abbey: From the trailer, we wanted to watch this movie. Its nice Eng Wah Cinema in Suntec had a Pre-Reno movie night. They gave free tickets. The movie is so hilarious.Guy wants a girl, tell his assistant to play as his ex-wife then assistant falls in love and guys felt the same. And on the wedding day of guy and the girl, guys cancels it and go back to his assistant. You'll find the plot as ordinary, but the side scenes and jokes will make you laugh wild. Thanks to the cool chemistry of Jen, Adam, and Nick (the guy whose afraid of sunshine in The Benchwarmers). I was waiting for Rob Schneider to have a cameo, but it didn't come. Still, this movie made me burst into laughters.

WILL: I really thought that they were going-on divorce, until we saw this movie for free. Thanks Eng Wah cinema. Going on, he always wears a wedding band but never been married. Then he finally saw the woman he wanted but she was disappointed to see that he has a wedding ring in his pants. 

       
And then that Jennifer Aniston played his wife and her to kids to be his.

The Tourist

ABBEY:
Spoiler alert. This is a love story mistaken for an action movie. It doesn't mean that it lacks action, it has. But it was her love for Alexander that made the story. You can also see Capt. Jack Sparrow as he rescues his true love. Very well portrayal of the characters. You can try to see it in Director's choice seat for 30SGD at Eng Wah (Suntec City)
 

WILL: Wow, Angelina and Johnny Depp. When i saw the trailer, hmmm, okay. I am not interested in their film but when I saw facebook post from our HS classmate, Sheila, we decided to watch it. 
This reel will push your mind to have a definite conclusion that AP is the man who is always there and giving Angelina a note. Who would think that this sophisticated woman is an undercover. Nice twist.
