Ingredients: Fish fillet (cut into 2x3 inch sizes) 2 eggs Potato starch (all-purpose flour) 1 tomato (sliced in half) 3 stalks of curry leaves Vegetarian curry mix 1 medium Onion 2 Green chilli (sliced in half) Salt and pepper Make the batter by combining the eggs and potato starch. The consistency depends on your preference. Season the fillet with salt and pepper and dip in the batter. Double fry the fish and set aside. Heat oil in a pan, and add the chilli, onion, and curry leaves until fragrant. Put in the curry mixture and a cup of water. Add salt to taste. Bring to a boil then add tomato (eggplant or lady finger), and coconut milk. You can put the fish into the curry or serve them separately. Enjoy with hot rice. ABBEY: I got sick almost the whole month of June. I look for ways how to reset my system and build my immune system again. Surprisingly, most write ups recommend to drink tea. Next thing I know, I’m shopping loose tea combinations at Scoop (Tanglin Mall). I got one for sleep, immunity and relaxation. At first I thought I would not like the taste but I was wrong. With mixture of tea leaves, lavender, spearmint, rose petals and many more, I really enjoyed drinking it and helped me a lot to become better again.  Plus they don’t have that burnt taste even when soaked for a long time. ABBEY: This is one of Wilma’s gift or should I say surprises for my 10th year anniversary in Singapore. I got intrigued with this confectionary when I read about the company being bought by Warren Buffet. What does it taste like why the Omaha oracle invested in them.  Each piece is different as with all other boxes of chocolates. But they are all velvety smooth and you can taste the premium-ness to it ( a higher level of chocolatiness). On the other hand, their hard candies are like jaw breakers.  You cannot bite it but just enjoy the flavor until the candy dissolves. ABBEY: New for us to see that Pepsi have vanilla and ginger flavors. So we tried it. Both drinks have zero sugar but I like the ginger one more. It has really the ginger kick aftertaste.  The vanilla however is being overpowered by the zero sugar taste. Good thing that it has Healthier Choice symbol so drinking it is I guess “guiltless”. Haha. Pepsi Vanilla and Pepsi Ginger Bold New Flavours WILL:  Pepsi answered the call of people who wants to cut-off sugar but still want to leisurely enjoy the fizzing soda. Pepsi came up with Vanilla and Ginger flavour.   Abbey and I unanimously agreed that Vanilla Flavour is lacking of punch. It seems that this soda is not sure if it wants to be sweet or to be healthy haha. While Ginger Flavour is our new love. It has this ginger tingle the sweetness is just perfect.  Way to go Pepsi! Looking forward on more innovations. Woootwoottt! 

ABBEY: Ben & Jerry’s released two new flavors of ice cream for their core series and this time it is cookie dough: Chocolate Chip and Wake & No Bake.  I can say both flavours are good but I like the Wake & No Bake more. It has peanut butter cookies and vanilla ice cream as well as fudge chips while the Chocolate Chip has milk cookie ice cream. Enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Core  WILL:  Abbey is not a fan of cookie dough but I am dying to try it. Good thing Ben and Jerry’s releases their Cookie Dough Core Flavours.   They have two (2) flavours and the taste that hits for me more is the Wake and No Bake Cookie Dough.  In one pint there are two ice cream: Vanilla Ice Cream with Peanut Butter Cookie and Peanut Butter with Fudge Chips. ABBEY: We looked where we can have our dinner since we were checked in at The Fullerton Singapore. We found Harry’s; a 10-15-minute walk from the hotel. People start to flock as the office hours ended. Good thing we got reservation with Eatigo and we also got a 50% discount on our food.  I had one of their Favorite items: Harry’s Jazz burger. The huge burger comes with fries and coleslaw. The patty is not that moist but the cheese make up for it as well as the bacon. What I like is how the staff attended to us; warm and friendly. ABBEY: I once saw this type of oats in the supermarket. And to feed my curiosity I bought a couple hundred of grams of steel cut oats at Scoop. As I’ve seen online, you put 2 1/2 cups of water to every cup of oats. But still depends on your preference. The cooking time is more compared to rolled oats but you will see, taste and feel the difference one you eat it. The steel cut oat has more texture and grainy flavor. I’ll prefer this over other types of oats as it is less processed. Steel Cut Oats of Scoop Wholefoods Singapore WILL:  We found out that instant oats is the most processed type of oat. ABBEY: No plans watching Spider-Man in the silverscreen but since it’s my weekoff I told Wilma to purchase tickets on Golden Village Suntec. Spider-Man: Far from Home is post-Ironman time. And Peter Parker is having this burden (become Tony’s replacement) on his shoulders. He became too comfortable being the friendly neighbor in his city. The story has its happy ending and Spider-Man saves the day. Gone is the time where superheroes’ identities are secret (stay for the end credit scene). Would romance blossom between Aunt Mae and Happy? Why Nick Furry didn’t even bother to check the background of Mysterio?
