ABBEY: This is the second TEDx conducted by NTU that I attended. The theme is “Greater than the sum of its parts”. That is true as the each speaker speech and their passion is really greater than all of them. I really learned from Jingmei Li; the cancer detective. The famous question : Are your curing cancer? was answered with “We’re getting there” is a positive assurance that someone is doing something. Daniel Teh is having more than 80% of his workforce comprise of people with special needs. Not that he wants sympathy but empathy to his employees. And who would forget about the fairytale story of Violet (relationship manager)? She stressed that better connectivity is being done offline and not online.
