Harry's Boat Quay

ABBEY: We looked where we can have our dinner since we were checked in at The Fullerton Singapore. We found Harry’s; a 10-15-minute walk from the hotel. People start to flock as the office hours ended. Good thing we got reservation with Eatigo and we also got a 50% discount on our food.

I had one of their Favorite items: Harry’s Jazz burger. The huge burger comes with fries and coleslaw. The patty is not that moist but the cheese make up for it as well as the bacon. What I like is how the staff attended to us; warm and friendly.

WILL: On our staycation at The Fullerton Hotel, just a walking distance is a lane of bars and grills along the Singapore River. One of those is Harry’s.

I ordered for their Dry-Rubbed Baby Back Ribs. It quite fascinating that we will only pay half of the price on that huge cut of meat! How was it? It is tender that is falling off from the bones. The sauce didn’t penetrate much in the inside and it is quite bloody! I enjoyed that time talking and eating on a high chair. Haha.

The waitresses were really attentive on every diner’s need. They are suggesting to get an Eatigo app for you to save money.

COLLIN'S® Restaurant at Cineleisure

ABBEY: After Wilma’s beauty treatments, it’s time to have our lunch. We had it at Collin’s (Cineleisure Orchard). The place is cozy; it also has booths like in diners.

I had their Signature Crispy Chicken Cutlet that comes with fries, coleslaw, buttered corn, mesclun salad, and garlic and cheese sauce. The salad dressing has a hint of orange as it was tangy and sweet while the corn is soft and juicy. The main item didn’t disappoint. It was crispy, moist and no bones. All you have to do is cut it to bite-size pieces and enjoy. All this for 15 SGD+. With all the flavors, it’s a good thing they serve fruit-infused cold water as well as warm.

WILL: Abbey is not yet finished with his April’s Dine-Out plan. After my hair removal sessions, we went to Collin’s Grille at Orchard ??.

I want a rice and a pork for my meal, so I ordered Collin’s Signature Roasted BBQ Sauce Pork Ribs. The flavour sipped deep inside the pork meat. It is tender and proves that it is one of their signature dish. The meal doesn’t come with a rice, I ordered one cup of it. Well, it is a delight! Yummmm!!

The price is just like Astons and the good thing is you do not need to beat yourself with a long queue.

The King Louis Grill & Bar: King's Ala Carte Dinner Buffet

ABBEY: Chat’s hard and quality work has been rewarded and we’re glad she invited us to celebrate it. We dined at The King Louis - Vivo City. At first, we planned to have ala carte items but ended with an ala carte buffet at SGD39.90++ (per head).

We were given a checklist of the menu. We got mushroom, pumpkin and onion soups, onion rings, baked rice, and carbonara. They’re delicious and really filled us. But we didn’t stop there. We also tried their roasted beef, pork loin, arabian lamb and pork ribs. Those ribs really got me. They get off the bones easily and the meat is soft.

For our last order we had King’s brownie and we all washed the food down with rootbeer float which really reminds us of famous A&W’s one.

The portions will be small, but since it is a buffet you can have it many times. This is good control of food else you will pay for the wastage.

WILL: Abbey, Charito and I celebrated a blessing with another blessing. Chat (Charito) chose to dine at The King's Lois Grill & Bar located at the of VivoCity (beside Daiso).

We decided to go for King's Ala Carte Dinner Buffet. It is limited time and it still worth it. Why? The baby back ribs is something to linger on. I ate those until my tank is full haha! Drinks are included too, go on and order a pot of tea, a coffee or one of the best float I had tasted.

It only costs $39.90++. A good deal for great food, good service and best place to dine in VivoCity.

Chuckwagon BBQ & Grill (S'pore)

ABBEY: At last we set foot at Chuckwagon;send-off dinner for Ford. The restaurant depicts a classical Wild Wild West salon. I was waiting for the bandits and Sheriff to come and have a duel. Just kidding.

We got half a dozen of spicy buffalo wings and their signature BLT sandwich. Ford ordered 2 full slabs of ribs. I somehow managed to finish two spicy wings and I can taste the flavour on each bite. The BLT bun is tasty as it toasted with butter. As always anything is better with bacon :) It made me full as the serving is big. I had a couple of ribs and they were delicious. The meat can be removed from the bones easily.

Also, I would like to commend the staff for their efficient and fast service. It only took a couple of minutes to serve our meal so we can satisfy our growling stomachs.

WILL: Are you just around the *polis* area? I mean Metropolis, Biopolis, Fusionopolis. Do you want a very serene place to unwind on your very hectic schedule? Why not come down to 7 Portsdown Road for some booze and finger foods.

We went to Chuckwagon to celebrate the upcoming of Ford’s next life’s chapter. We ordered their famous BBQ Baby Back Ribs ($40.80), fries, nachos, buffalo wings, burger and prosciutto funhgi pizza.

Their baby back ribs is tender and there is an aftertaste of flavoured tea. Nice! I love their mashed potato, the side the was served for their Bacon, Lettuce Tomato Burger. You will ask for more nachos. ”The bad” buffalo wings ($18.80) is really a lip-smacker! A very good level of spiciness to be partnered with wine or beer.

Their place is comforting and their servers are really warm.

Thanks Ford and good luck on all of your endeavours!
