ABBEY: We were able to spend some time with Chat for April celebrations at Yummo Chow (Hotel NuVe Heritage). The restaurant is not too busy when we arrived half past 12 noon. I guess we’re the only guests that time. We looked at the menu and included pork ribs on our first order but unfortunately it was not available at the moment. We got teriyaki salmon, Australian sirloin and ribeye steaks, spam fries, french fries, mentaiko mayo prawn, and carbonara. The pastas (including our second order chilli crab) lack the flavor and got too much sauce. Our spam fries seems not to be Spam but other brand of luncheon meat but still good. I really liked the ribeye steaks, prawn, and pork satays (note that there are 5 sticks per order). For the drinks, the staff recommended fresh watermelon and it didn’t disappoint; not too sweet or watery. No credit card payments but Grab and PayNow is accepted.
