Poulét at Raffles City (First French Casual Dining Restaurant Chain Concept in Singapore)

ABBEY: Our blog's third anniversary came and just in time for that Poulet at Raffles City opened a couple of weeks before. So after my morning shift we went to the restaurant and found a long queue. Almost giving up the plan to dine in, the staff approached us and told us that a table for two was available. Nice :) 

It's a French cuisine restaurant and I got Iberico pork belly and fries. The food has a good plating and a thousand flavors bursted in my mouth on each bite. It was delicious. 

The fries was served in a small bucket with dip on the side. Main entree starts at less than 15 sgd. It was great celebration indeed.

WILL: Maybe Abbey was thinking back then that if he will date me on a Frenh restaurant, he'll be as romantic as french people are. Well, he do not need to that because for me he is the most romantic man I ever dated.

I planned for a pizza night to celebrate the We'll Tell You - A&W Couple's Blog 3rd year anniversary, but he told me that he had a plan too. I pushed my idea but he won, I gave way for his plan. I am surprised to see a newly built restaurant at Raffles City. Its a classy and I am pretty annoyed that we will be spending a lot for a one dinner. I started to murmured about the price but Abbey shused me.

We were seated beside the window and on my delight, they have just two page menu, ha! They will not give their diners a hard time to choose from their list. I am not a keen eater of chicken but I still asked for their frontliner dish.. The Poulét Rôtti, (Roast Chicken) merged with their Mushroom Chardonnay Sauce. The taste is superb! Abbey spoonfed me their Iberico Pork Belly, oh darl, the taste is really unforgettable!   

Overall, it is really a nice experience for both of us. Now I know why many people love to eat French Cuisine.

ABBEY: Time really flies fast. Now its time to celebrate our second blog anniversary. After two years, the unique visitors is at 85,000. 

Compared to other featured blogs, we still have a lot of work to do but for us its a milestone reached. We never imagined that we will make this far. We enjoyed what we do and we are happy that others are continuing to support us. I managed to read older posts once in a while and surprised that I can write that much. As a gift we deposited our earnings in Nuffnang. 

We hope that we can continue to help others by our reviews.

WILL: This is our couple's blog 2nd bday. This is a hobby that binds me and my hubby. We enjoy every inch, every time, and everything about this blogging. We enjoy every questions by our jargons and friends where, when and how we felt when we go to a certain place, when we ate or cooked that food or when we do some of those activities. 

     This is a hobby that grew with little fame, with a large advantage to some events and unexpected amounts, vouchers and freebies from different companies/people...one of those is Nuffnang, our exclusive ads supplier. 

     After some debate two years ago, Abbey agreed to have an advertisement to our blogs and that we chose Nuffnang. :) Just this past month, we received the cheque amounting S$ 59.25. For some this maybe small, but for me and my husband, this is a huge cash, huge cash for doing nothing for them. Haha.

Salamat sa Dios dahil sa kaniyang kaloob na di masayod.

ABBEY: Salamat po sa isang taong dumaan at kami'y ginabayan sa pagsusulat. Yes, we are one now. Can't believe that we managed to survive writer's block, being lazy to write and no topics to write about. I hope and pray that as the new year unfolds we will be able to give our blog visitors good reviews to read. And for my co-writer, my friend and my wife may you still enjoy writing with me and have more patience for reminding me about the deadlines. Thank God for this opportunity.




WILL: Isang taon na po ang aming "couple's blog". But first of course, we are very thankful to HIM para sa mga kaloob NYA na di na namin masayod.
      Hindi namin inaakala na dahil sa hindi makita paano pumunta sa Malaysia by train from Singapore eh mabubuhay ang blog na ito at magtatagal. Hehe. Upon doing this blog eh tinanggal naman nmin ang multiply site ko due to privacy. 
      Ang daming happenings sa period na 'to, bukod sa start ng couple's blog na ito, we also started our wedding site, within this period eh I got my work here in Singapore and we already tied the knot. 
      We know a simple Thank You is not enough for all the followers, readers, friends who continues to support, and all the services/products we featured here at our blog.
