QC Pamper Date Night: Alami Spa, Belo TriNoMa, & Mall Eats (Honest Review)

ABBEY:  Sometimes, a relaxing day does not need much planning. A good massage, a little facial pampering, coffee, and some comfort food can already make a day feel special.   We visited Alami Spa for a much-needed massage and were lucky enough to visit during their soft opening, when they were offering a discount. Our experience started with a refreshing welcome drink. It was so good that we actually asked for a second serving before our massage. We booked a couple's room, which was convenient because it came with its own toilet and shower. After changing into our massage clothes, we immediately settled onto our massage tables and got ready to relax. The massage itself was more intense than what I was used to. The masseuse did not rely only on her hands. She also used her elbows, knees, and arms to work on different areas of the body. It was quite a deep and intense massage, but it was exactly what my aching muscles needed. My body definitely experienced a type of massag...

Denny’s TriNoma

ABBEY: After a relaxing massage, we fill our tummy with food from Denny’s. We sat on a booth just like in a diner.  I ordered one of their classic items:  Denny’s fried chicken. It comes with three pieces of chicken, steamed rice and gravy. The chicken were on the burnt side but they were crispy. The meat is moist though. Have chicken, rice and gravy on every spoonful for complete flavor. Denny’s TriNoma Spicy Sriracha Burger Denny’s TriNoma MENU Denny’s TriNoma MENU Denny’s Fried Chicken WILL:  I am craving for a good beef burger after our massage and found Dennys along TriNoma’s rooftop garden.   The beef patty is shockingly flavourful and juicy. The distinctive milky taste of it burst in every bite! I asked Abbey to try it for him to confirm my delight on that meal! Hehe. It is not that spicy.  A nice place to bring along your date for a fancy and restaurant grade fastfood meal. *** Denny's Trinoma (W)...

The Spa Wellness at TriNoma

ABBEY: With so much stress and pressure from our last apartment project, we booked for a massage at The Spa (Trinoma) for me, Wilma and Ate Sol.  I chose Aromatherapy (lavender oil) Swedish massage. I washed before the session and had a cup of ginger tea. My masseur hit all the right spots that I want to feel relaxed and I even slept. It was so good when I heard my back crack as well as my neck. I felt I was more “aligned” after the massage.  I had two more ginger tea and I’m done. The Spa Wellness at TriNoma Massage Area The Spa Wellness at TriNoma Ladies Area The Spa Wellness at TriNoma Shower Area WILL:  We put a lot of stress on my sister’s shoulders and for her to relax, Abbey and I went to The Spa for some muscle kneading!   The Spa is one of somewhat a luxury spa in Manila. We booked at their TriNoma branch, Ate Sol and I requested for a deep tissue massage.  Upon getting inside the place, you can feel its serenity. Th...

Brothers Burger at TriNoma Mall, Quezon City

ABBEY: I can still remember the “50% off the second burger” promo of Brothers Burger when I worked at Makati. The queue was long. So we decided to have a taste of their menu items but this time at Trinoma.  I got the cheesesteak sandwich. It is huge and has ample amount of beef in it. The bread is soft and beef is tender. No need to put any other condiments on it. Brothers Burger The Boss Burger Brothers Burger Cheesesteak Sandwich Brothers Burger at TriNoma Mall, Quezon City MENU WILL:  Abbey and I used to lunch-out at one of Brothers Burger outlet at Makati. As I remember, one burger costs only Php100.00, now...oh my! It is more than 9 years ago. Haha.  After our facial at Let's Face It, we sat at their branch and Abbey insisted for me to have the "The Boss Burger" (Php375.00) because Lamb Burger is not abailable that time.  As I recall, the quality of the buns are not there, but the beef patties are way more better than other big...

Italianni's Philippines - TriNoMa Branch

ABBEY:  We have our first dinner date at Italliani's Glorietta Branch. And Wilma paid for that. Poor me that I don't have that much money to pay for a decent dinner date.  I got a taste of their house bread dipped in olive oil with balsamic vinegar. So as a re-enactment we went for lunch at their branch at Trinoma.  This time it is on my tab.  I ordered a quarter of spring chicken and I got pesto with chunks of ground beef as Wilma saw that mine got a good presentation. All our needs was finely attended. It was a great lunch; the food is flavourful and delicious, ambiance is homey and I got to have lunch there with my wife :) WILL:  Are you tired of the fastfood chain ambiance of the different pizza parlours? Well, as always, I enjoy the food more if the place is quiet and have a peaceful aura. Tuscan and foccacia bread really captured my heart dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. That bread is a complimentary and I keep on a...
