ABBEY: Once again the craving for a meat bbq is on me. We were supposed to have it on our place but due to pandemic the bbq pits were closed. After a few visits to ITE (Ang Mo Kio) we saw a poster of Teng Sheng Korean BBQ and the price is at 20SGD per person on a dinner. It’s a go.  We were the only guests when we arrived up until a few minutes before we finish. We were told to place our orders since that is an ala carte buffet and get our drinks. By the time we got back to our table our stove is hot and a plate with mountain of meats is waiting for us.  We had pork belly, beef, sausages, lettuce and kimchi. I indulged in pork belly fats. Wow! The staff is already asking for next batch of orders when they saw our plate is already empty. We only went as far as second round. It was “full”-filling. ABBEY: We went to Burger+ (Wisma Atria) branch but we backed out as the waiting time for a takeaway order is 2 hours. I saw my wife became sad. So on an ordinary day, I placed an order and boy she was surprised when she saw the food.  Actually it was not a surprise afterall as she saw my placement in my mail.  We got Bulgogi Hotdog (Pork), Vege Cheeseburger, and Korean Bulgogi burger. All those came with fries and drink. I like the packaging as it is very presentable even after delivery. It protected the food specially the fries. Speaking of fries, the truffle fries is flavorful and fragrant. You need to eat them as soon as you can as they will be hard if you keep it a long time. The burgers are juicy, moist and got the grilled taste.  You can never ask for more tomato or lettuce. They are all packed in the sandwich. Ready your dough as this will cost you. ABBEY: This became a challenge across the globe and I want to try it. I already passed the 4000 Scoville heat units (SHU) and I wonder how much spicy it is if you double it. I successfully finished 3 packs of it.  I already realized that it was really spicy on the first slurp of noodle. My mouth and tongue went numb but I know I can handle the heat. The second time, my eyes teared up without me knowing it and got runny nose also. On the third, it was like normal but still the kick is strong. The taste is sweet and spicy. Mushroom Flavor Shrimp Flavor ABBEY:  I asked my wife what is Shin Ramyun. Is it a local restaurant or hawker that we visited? No. It is the great tasting noodles that I like the most. Imagine, I just eat it not knowing its name. I don't know the name because every time we buy it, I just look for the color of the package. Haha. Back in Philippines, Wilma gave me a cup of the noodles and said to try it. I was hesitant because I'm not used to a spicy noodle. When I tasted it, it was so good. It's flavorful and you'll be craving for more. You can buy it as instant noodles in a cup or cook it. A cup cost not more than 2sgd and 5-piece pack is 3.5sgd. This is a must try.
