Nivea Visage - Deep Pore Control Toner

ABBEY: After I wash my face with whitening soap my wife would then apply this toner on me. Vain? Yes, a little. I'm glad that the toner is not harsh on the skin. It tightens the pores and make you look good after every application.

WILL: My let's face it toner was all up and cannot bear this rough edges on my face and I am so afraid to try something new for my face.  Abbey pushed me to buy this toner while waiting for my toner coming all the way from Philippines. Hehe. I am quite hesitant but I have no choice, my only prayer is there will be no bad reactions that may came out on mu face.
      So i use this toner and STILL using it. Hehe. No allergies, no pimples or any blackhead prone face. :) thanks Nivea! Love this! We bought this not more than $5.

Amethystory - Mineral Aqua Gel

ABBEY:  I've tried facial soaps and scrubs. This face product is different; it peels. Don't wash your face before application. Massage it until the serum sits in and the peeling begins. Rinse and then pat the face dry. I had soft and moisturized skin after applying it and a sense of cleanliness. I felt I had an instant face lift :)

WILL: Ginvera people is very generous giving some samples of Amethystory for the people who are so curious to try this mineral gel facial wash. 

      I use their facial wash as instructed, dry hands and dry face, put the gel on the face and start scrubbing away the dirt and dry skin. Of course there are some skin like that came out on my face. Hehe. Dead skin or "libag" as we called it in Filipino. Haha. Then I washed it away and astonished, it leaves a moisturized and supple feel face! 

     To prove that me and abbey really like the outcome, Abbey asked me to buy for him. Hehe. Vanity is now kicking in to my husband, but he worth it! Guys also need those facial cares ;) 

Holland & Barrett Vitamins

ABBEY:  At last we found an alternative shop to buy our supplements. We always buy at their branch at VivoCity Mall as it is convenient for us. 

The sales associates can clearly discuss to us the effects of the vitamins and sometimes make suggestion on which supplements to try. We got Vitamin C, Flaxseed oil, multivitamins etc. 

In here also we buy the supplements for our parents. So far we experience no side effects from them. 

WILL: We are always seeing Holland & Barrett almost everywhere here in Singapore. We bought out very first bottles at VivoCity branch. This is an alternative to our GNC vitamins. 

Holland & Barrett is a lot cheaper than other brands and a trusted company all over the world.  We do hope that this pills can help our body to energize, be productive and overpower the bacteria that may costs sickness. 

Guardian Exfoliating Bath Scrub

ABBEY: I like using this body scrub during my weekends. It has a very good smell and you will feel relaxed and refreshed after bathing. It leaves the skin exfoliated also. We got this product at a discounted price. Its good to pamper yourself after a week's work.

WILL: We got these on sale for $2 each. Since we do not usually go to spa for some scrubs, we bought this and decided to do it on ourselves. 

      It really exfoliates our skin, we feel the smooth and silky skin after wash. Try this lovable product. ;) 

Dulcofibre

ABBEY: This sample was given to us when we purchased a product from Guardian. I am aware of this fibre-rich supplements because they were already being sold back in Philippines but I haven't tried any. 

A sachet should be mixed in a glass of water. It has a faint citrus flavor. Upon intake, you should drink ample amount of water throughout the day to obtain maximum effect. The result is good for me, I became a "floater" during that period.

WILL: As other vitamins, we also need a daily supply of fiber. You can take Dulcofibre once or twice a day. We took this lovable mandarin taste drink before we took our breakfast.
      Soluble fibre is a really must for every individual. This helps the body to throw away the toxins that causes diseases. 
      Wait no more, buy Dulcofibre now. 

Ginvera - Green Tea Aqua Whitening Cream with Oil Control

ABBEY: Our face reacts immediately if we apply creams or other beauty regimens on it. For me rashes will occur. That's why I was hesitant when Ginvera was applied to me. I was waiting for itching but it didn't came. The cream is cold upon applying and the smell is good. It leaves a soft and moisturized skin. And the bonus; your wife will  tell you that you are handsome every morning :)

WILL: Abbey had this very dry cheeks last week and I am so freaking anxious about it. I immediately asked him to stop to use his facial wash.

      Every evening after his clean-up, I applied to him this Ginvera Green Tea Whitening Cream. Religiously using this make our face moisturized and as I observed it lessens the oils on our face. 

      We also love too. Thanks Ginvera. 

Shu Uemura Cleansing Oils

ABBEY: We got 4 sample sachets each of these cleansing oils. Upon availing the samples the sales associate will ask for your face skin type. I was given the sample for oily ones :) During our clean up, we opened one sachet and applied the oil as per the instructions. It has a nice scent and you will not feel any greasiness after rinsing; leaving your skin smooth and soft. This maybe the best cleanser that I've tried.

WILL: We registered then we get their samples. I forgot to get the name of the very accommodating personnel that time, they ask me few questions first and check our skin before they gave us the suitable oils for us. 
      She gave me the brightening cleansing oils and high performance balancing cleansing oils.. for my husband, she gave four sets cleansing beauty oil (anti-oxidant). 
      The instruction is to put it on a dry face with dry hands. Okay. After that date we had, I went to our bathroom to remove my make-up.
      In my head, "Hmp! This oils will just worsen the removal of my make up, specially on my eye area. Just like other unmasking products, tints of my liquid eyeliner will be all over my face". 
      As I open the sachet with violet colored bottle, I was surprised to found out the very soothing aroma. It made me feel that I am in a spa. ;) Very relaxing! I pour some oils on my dry hands and put it immediately on forehead then on my eyes. All I can is "wow". The make up just seems melted away and I can't see and residue of it. It just make me feel that I never put any make-up on. ;) 
      Abbey love it too. He have a very sensitive skin, but this oil dont give him any allergic reaction. After using it, he blurted out. "We will definitely buy this".
      Thanks Shu Uemura. Perfect! When they posted a contest to bring all our toughest and hardest to remove make up, haha! I passed up the challenge, I know I will lose that battle. Hehe!

Pearlie White - Fluorinze Mouthwash

ABBEY: Our mouthwash ran out and went to a wellness shop to buy a new one. We got Pearlie white mouthwash for a change.

We tried it and its good. Had a fresh breath for a longer time.

WILL: Bago maubos ang Swish, we went to Watsons and saw this package of mouthwash worth almost 9$. Pearlie White leaves no harsh sensation after the gargle. Oh, some mouthwash do not have a flouride content, so if you want some flouride with your moutwash, try this. Nice grab baby. 

Nelia's Salon Spa

Abbey:
Ever wonder who did my hair in preparation for our wedding? Its Nelia's. I told the hair stylist to give me a good haircut so I'm handsome for our BIG day. He never failed me :). The pictures show. Haircut costs 15sgd plus the stories and conversation with your fellow Pinoys. They also offer manicure, pedicure, hair and foot spa. The shop is located at 4th floor of Lucky Plaza.

WILL: Disappointment really hits me when i went to Mary Chia. Di kinalkal ang in-grown ko. Hmp! I am a kind of girl, na di ko feel na nalilinis ang toe nails hanggat di sila dumudugo. Hehe. So to satisfy and mawala na ang masakit na in-grown, we went to Lucky Plaza. :) 

      There, natatawa sila sa akin kasi feeling nila masakit na ang gngawa nila para sa akin pero ako ayun, walang reaction. Haha. While they do my nails Abbey is in line for a haircut. 
      Pedicure (Fil Style) worth us 25$. Ang mahal pero worthy naman. Ang gaan ng feeling. :) 

Salvatore Ferragamo - Perfumes

Abbey:
We were strolling along Tangs at Vivo and saw the new product from Salvatorre. I always wanted to buy Wilma a bottle of perfume for her daily use. She wont allow it as she says "Ang MAHAL naman".  But on that day, its a promotion. We planned to get one for her when the sales lady told us that we can also have one bottle for me for half the price.
As if were charmed, we bought it.  And here's the content: 2 bottles of perfume (50mL and 100mL), a hip bag, and samples of other fragrance; all for 167sgd.
The smell lasts for a day and I'm glad whenever Wilma gives me complement when I wear it.

WILL: I love scent of guys on me, and do not ask me why, because i do not know the answer either. Hehe. That's why i have almost twenty boys' perfumes ;) all gifts!
      Now, naubos na lahat ni Abbey ang mga pabango ng nakaraan, hehe, we must start a new scents for our wedding.
      Abbey loves Attimo bought it for almost $150 includes his perfume, a ferragamo bag, Incanto perfumes, and seven trial packs of other EDT.
      Just bargain with freebies at Tangs ;)

Swish Mouthwash

ABBEY:

"Switch to Swish" - that's what Mike Enriquez, a Filipino broadcaster, always advertise in his morning radio show. He's saying that Swish doesn't have any alcohol content. When we got back from PH, we brought a bottle of this mouthwash and tried it. Yes, it doesn't have any alcohol which gives you the burning sensation when you gargle. From what I experience, it also keeps my breath fresh longer than with the other mouthwash.

WILL: Sabi nga nila "Switch to SWISH", so we give it a shot. 
Right! Because there is ni alcohol content, there a no stinging sensation and no after taste of it.
      Our breath? Nicer than ever, kahit one hour mong di buka ang bibig mo, di p dn bad breath. Hehe. This is ready to use, no need to add water kaya medyo magastos nga lng. Bottle of 200ml costs Php150. 

Dettol Body Wash

Abbey:

I came to know Dettol as it the handwash brand we use at the office. The handwash promises to give you protection against common household bacteria and germs. The smell after handwashing is also good.

When I saw the body wash on the store, I told Wilma if we can try it given my testimony about the hand wash.

I wasn't wrong. The body wash works well and gave me a refreshing feeling after bath.

WILL: Dettol is the brand I saw use to clean the bathroom. Kaya I am pretty hesitant to use their new released bath soap. I am thinking that it may be to harsh with our skin.
      But wait, I am wrong! It is very delicate to the skin, refreshing and feels we were totally cleaned up. 
      This Dettol costs me 8S$.

Johnson's Baby Milk Bath

Abbey:

I thought baby milk baths are only for babies. Wrong. This product is also for adults.

What good about this is its not having a strong scent. A neutral aroma that will make you feel relaxed. Moisturizer is also included; leaving a soft skin after bath. Try this to give your skin a refreshing treat.

WILL: Thanks to my ate sol, she sponsored all my necessities when she started to work and this baby soap is included to my monthly supplies. :)

      Using this on daily basis, you can compare your skin using the bar soap. Well, my skin became softer and moisturized. Love the smell, as if it tells you that you are still a baby :) 

Cetaphil - Every Age. Every Stage. Every Day.

ABBEY:  Wilma told me that we will have a sample Cetaphil facial cream to be tested. At the back of my mind I'm thinking that the product will be good. I first used Cetaphil products as recommended by my dermatologist for my allergy. They worked great. After washing my face, my wife gently applied the cream. Its good. No odor and my skin adopted to it as well.

WILL: 

      Thank you Cetaphil for sending us a trial pack. Anyway, back in Philippines Cetaphil was used by my niece and nephews for their daily bath so I am quite happy that they send us the trial pack. 

      My hubby's skin is very sensitive. We applied it on our face, so lucky that it doesn't produce any irritations. Truly, cetaphil never broke our trust with them  :)

Adeva Spa @ Paragon

ABBEY: 

We were about to have dinner at Suntec when we saw the promotion of Adeva. For an hour of whole body massage you will be charged for 38sgd when the usual price is 78. We went to the facility and were gladly attended by the staff. A couple of minutes passed and we were instructed that we can use the spa amenities before the massage; it has jacuzzi - the size of our room, steam bath, and sauna. Ginger tea and water are available also. The tea is very good and very commendable. After soaking in the pool, it was time now for massage. It was a relief; having a massage after a week's work. But the thing is its only her weekend, my week has just started.

WILL: Adeva at Paragon - Orchard! What? How much? Hehe. As we were their first timer customer, their package of 198$ per session of massage was slashed to $38. Good deal right? 
What are the inclusions. Free use of jacuzzi, steam bath, disposable underwear, their free flow of very well blended ginger tea, and a dessert.
      We went there after office, TGIF! On their very serene lobby, staff will give u a form to fill up what are your body parts that your masseurs will concentrate to. There is also a boxes to tick how hard your massage will be. Kung may extra hard lng dun, un ang check ko. Ha! So i ticked on, Hard.
The massage, damn good. Rejuvenated!
     Do not forget to make an appointment, they are always fully booked. So better call before going there. Oh, i love their tea. Very soothing! 

Jogging Around Punggol and Sengkang

ABBEY: When she went here at SG to work, we thought of how we can workout to burn those extra fats. :) We had the same idea in mind; to jog. Every week we put on our jogging attire and jog around our vicinity. We tried to put it to the next level and decided to try to explore other places while jogging. We reached Sengkang and back to our place. This routine will benefit the heart and another way to relieve stress. Run, run, run!

WILL: Who is not un need of a good excercise? Every week we see to it that we hit the road for some jog. We run around punggol and once conquered Sengkang. Pag tinatamad, dun lng kami sa recreation area or court sa baba ng unit namin. 
      This is a good and healthy activity to spend with my husband. :) 

The Body Shop - Moisturizer

ABBEY: 
We always wait for their promotions of body wash. Those citrus-scented products is relaxing and invigorating. Prices starts from 12sgd but only 5 when they're in promo. Not bad huh. They also gave us samples of moisturizer. It worked for my skin and haven't developed any rash. Thanks Body Shop.

WILL: My husband registered me to be a member of The Body Shop. Every time they have new products, of course they notify us to try it on. So we have this product for free. One night, we tried this moisturiser. It indicates to be compatible on all skin type, we applied on our faces, the smell is not that pleasant unlike other products. The feeling after an overnight, hmmm i can say a satisfactory result. One is enough. 

Sensodyne Toothpaste

ABBEY: I was very skeptical about this product when I'm watching their ads on tv, until I tested the toothpaste myself. Wilma bought it from Philippines. Unlike other toothpaste, it has no silky texture. Its rough like its telling you "hey, I'm starting to clean and protect you teeth". After brushing, just like a child who really wants to do what he's seen on tv, I went to the fridge and get a glass of cold water. Wow, it worked. Walang ngilo, kumbinsing. Tested and proven.

WILL: Sensodyne? Its not that we have sensitive teeth but this is nice for an extra protection. We bought back from Philippines priced not more than Php150 (SGD5). Very nice to try and we will keep in using. 

Marks & Spencer Lotion

ABBEY: 

This is what I buy for Wilma. The lotion have a good scent and they're affordable. The store has a wide variety to choose from and the prices ranges from 7 to 10sgd. They always have promotions so you can get more products out of your budget. Your skin will be very happy to indulge in variations of lotions.

WILL: This is the arrays of lotions that I indulge in. Why I love them? More cheaper than others (SGD8-15) hehe, its classic scent and the not that greasy feel. 
      They have their branches almost in every malls here in Singapore, pero suki kami s Vivo City :D 
      

Mary Chia - The Beauty & Slimming Specialist

Abbey:
Wilma told me to book a schedule for manicure and pedicure before our wedding. My feet took me to NEX mall again. I inquired in 2 or 3 services but they're all fully booked. I found Mary Chia at the 3rd floor. They are free on my preferred time. 150SGD will include couple manicure and pedicure,  and foot spa with massage. Wilma enjoyed the massage very well. Her feet were aching and its a relief to have that massage.

WILL: I need something blue, and I decided that it will be my toenails. Abbey set an appointment of 730pm to Mary Chia NEX Branch. The foot massage is so great, i can even sleep in their couch. The manicure and pedicure?, it will be my first and last.
