ABBEY: I do have a case of thining hair at the crown. Can be hereditary as this was the same with my uncles. The best that I can do is to give more care to it.

We went to PHS Hairscience at Wheelock Place and gave my head the treatment it deserves. I got the Signature renew scalp treatment. My scalp was assessed and it was oily and have patches of dirt. Haha. Next step is shampoo. I can’t believe you can shampoo that many times. You get that cooling effect from the menthol. A serum was jet-sprayed to my scalp for better absorption. On the next visit (yes I came back a second time), a balloon-like contraption was put over my head and the serum is applied this time by steam.

Both sessions are rejuvenating and you can feel that all is clean up there. We bought shampoos and tonic to keep the scalp and hair healthy.

WILL: If something is hereditary and the signs of those are already manifesting will you wait for it to fully take its course? Well for us, specially me, I want to delay the grey hairs and thankfully PHS is there to help. This will be Abbey’s second year using their products and I was given an anti-ageing treatment.

The anti-ageing scalp treatment only took 1-hour from me. That hour consisted of few times of bubbly-cooling shampoo, head massage, scalp treatment application and blow dry. The PHS HAIRSCIENCE Wheelock is clean, the staffs are lively and you will feel that they really caring about your mane and not just to sell any product. Our hair specialist knew everything about our scalp and its progress.

Duo Deluxe Golden Village - Paya Lebar Laser-projected Movie Hall

ABBEY: Golden Village Paya Lebar boasts its laser projection system and its spacious twin leather seats. So we went ahead and watch Justice League on a weekend.  Only the food and drinks bought in the cinema will be allowed.  I thought the seats are able to recline but its not. The space between the other twins are not that apart. I can still feel the feet or maybe the knee of the person behind me.  When it comes to the projection I don’t find any difference with other cinema. Maybe I’m not just keen into that technology. ABBEY:  Recently, we finally got to experience the newly renovated Shaw Theatres Lido along Orchard Road just in time for The Devil Wears Prada 2 hitting the silver screen. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that Shaw has elevated the cinema experience into something far more premium and comfortable for moviegoers in Singapore. One of the first things you will notice is the impressive selection of food and beverage options available.
