Common Grill by Collin's (delivered by foodpanda)

ABBEY: As the Singapore Circuit Breaker continues you can mostly rely on food delivery. And sometimes you want to have a meal which is out of the norm. We placed our order at Common Grill. 

 I got beef short ribs with chicken chop. It came with half corn, pasta and greens. The beef short ribs are peppery while the chicken is moist and sweet. The serving is enough for me to be full and satisfied. 

 Common Grill was our choice when we had our e-dinner with our friends.

 WILL: Abbey got an appreciation FoodPanda voucher from their office and we spend the $30 ordering from Common Grill. 

Why? First, we are craving from sime grilled meat as we can’t book a bbq pit and second because they are on 50% and free delivery promotion! What again? Haha! You read it right! Two promotions are running until now. 

I went for Grilled Pork Chop and Quarter BBQ Pork for our first order and Spanish Pork Belly for our second order. Huh? We ordered twice? Yes. May and June hehe. 

What we love with Common Grill? The meat is perfectly grilled. There’s no pink meat neither too much burnt parts. It is still lovingly juicy! They gave a generous meat, pasta and salad portions. The food is not compromised due to promotions. Oh! Don’t muss their mushroom soup! 

Would love to visit one day their store and have a dine in there. Very recommendable!

ABBEY:  Recently, we finally got to experience the newly renovated Shaw Theatres Lido along Orchard Road just in time for The Devil Wears Prada 2 hitting the silver screen. From the moment we stepped in, it was clear that Shaw has elevated the cinema experience into something far more premium and comfortable for moviegoers in Singapore. One of the first things you will notice is the impressive selection of food and beverage options available. Guests are spoiled for choice with concepts like Centro, Espresso and Matcha Bar , and even a Cocktail Bar, making it feel more like an upscale lounge than a traditional cinema. Duo Deluxe Golden Village - Paya Lebar Laser-projected Movie Hall

ABBEY: Golden Village Paya Lebar boasts its laser projection system and its spacious twin leather seats. So we went ahead and watch Justice League on a weekend.  Only the food and drinks bought in the cinema will be allowed.  I thought the seats are able to recline but its not. The space between the other twins are not that apart. I can still feel the feet or maybe the knee of the person behind me.  When it comes to the projection I don’t find any difference with other cinema. Maybe I’m not just keen into that technology.
