Songs of the Sea

ABBEY: This kind of presentation is a first for me to see. The show sprays jet of water that will serve as the screen as the light and images are projected on it. The sound adds excitement and thrills as you watch the show. This is a must-see performance.

WILL: Spectacular. Very nice production. This is a must to see when you go to Sentosa. For only SGD10.00 you can get the seat in this good display of water, lights even fire.

Fountain of Wealth

ABBEY:
The world's largest fountain. The admission is free. And every night they exhibit a light show. Like the "Songs of the Sea" at Sentosa. You can also fill your stomach with foods offered by food junctions around the fountain. Before the light show start, you can get to the center, circle around the fountain 3 times as you touch the water and make a wish. For a romantic suggestion, you can fill up a form with your message to your loved ones and a song of your choice. Hand it over to the jockey and wait for your music to be played. ;)

WILL: When you roam around Singapore, You can address this country as Fountain Heaven. Who will think na this country have a scarcity in water? hehe.
This is the world's largest fountain, kaya this is very popular, kaya we need to see this lalo na its for free. hehe. After seeing the Avatar at Suntec City, we find time to go in there and touch its water.
We also waited for the Laser show. Happy.

Singapore Flyer - A Moving Experience at Every Turn

 ABBEY:
Wow, ferris wheel. I'm eager to ride this one as I wanted to see Singapore in aerial view. This is part of tourism's promotion regarding landmarks here. I heard reviews that when you ride the wheel in morning, you can even see part of Indonesia. I can't proved it cause we were there at night. The lights give more beauty to it. Truly a remarkable experience. A very nice sight when you're at the top.

WILL: This is the largest observation wheel all over the world, that's why we never let this experience to passed us. :)
They have a promotion for land-water-air view. For only S$29.00 each. So we do the boat ride first, in that, we saw Merlion ng paharap, lagi kasi patagilid eh. hehe.. Then we queue sa pagkahabang pila for our flight.
In the capsule for 30 mins, you can see the lights and glitters of city of Singapore. Their river is so clean. Nature was truly reserved in this country.
It's a nice experience even at first my feet got numb because of the great height. Si chat nga muntik na magback-out. haha!

ABBEY:
Merry Christmas :) Very seldom you will find belen in Singapore. That's why we decided to blog the most prominent Christmas symbol here. Yes, the Christmas trees. I like the most is the tree near our office. Siyempre, loyalty to your area :) They have a contest in Orchard for the most beautiful Christmas decoration. You can see different colors and sizes of the trees. In every mall, the tree becomes their center piece, reminding you that you have to go shopping. But beware, touching them will get you electrocuted. Just look at them, have pics and feel the Christmas spirit.

WILL: So, holiday is just around the corner. This is my 2nd year na I am not with my family, sadness, but the new and happy part is to be with my Abbey. Here in Singapore, walang malamig na simoy ng hangin.. malamig na simoy ng air-con lang.. ahahah.. U can only just feel na December na kasi ang daming Xmas Tree.
Kaya, Abbey and I decided to feature it it in our blog. For me the best tree eh yung s Sentosa. Why? recycled eh. Mas mahirap magpaganda ng galing s junk. Go Green :)

New World Hotel - Makati, Philippines

ABBEY:
During college, I sidelined as a light man in video coverage. And whenever we cover for a wedding in a hotel, I used to dream to stay there for a night or two. Hotel staff will treat you as  if you're the most VIP in the world :) I experience that in New World Hotel. The hotel was great. They have ongoing wedding dress fair when we came, The Runway Project, so their lobby exhibited different gowns. Our room is spacious, twin bedroom, enough for 6-8 pax. We also dipped on their pool. :) Thanks to Neth's connection, we got it half the price.

WILL: It's my birthday! And who's idea ito? It is from my friendly-friend, Neth. Usually on my birthday dahil summer, we go for a out of town to have some splurge sa mga resorts. But now, we just stayed in Makati.
This hotel was aka Renaissance, now the name is New World Hotel. From office, I went straight to the hotel. There, in their vast spaced lobby, my friends were waiting for me, as usual grand entrance na naman ako. ;p.
We have fun in our stay. A comfy room, clean pools, a free drink from our beloved Kuya V and a tipsy tipsy night with a revelation game. ahahaha!
I am so thankful as always to my true friends who is always there for me. Oooops, almost forgot I just paid half of the hotel rate(Php3200.00), why? it's one of Marineth's gift for me. hehehe.
I love to stay in hotels, just to soak in my self in a hot tub. A sweet escape for me in a stressful world of Bureau of Customs in Philippines.

Sentosa's First Buskers Festival

ABBEY:
Busker's festival is great and fun. Back in the Philippines, I just see busker during holiday season in malls. Now, I can have picture with them as well. They posted also the rules when you are watching the performances. Bawal ang PIKON, go with the flow. And how much it cost us? 0SGD. Yes, its free. Definitely, we had a great time :)

WILL: Back again on Sentosa Island, 3rd time.
All I can do is laugh and be amazed on all their acts. It's so good to feel inside the lightness in appreciating all the jokes of the buskers.
So nice that Sentosa set up that event. Many people swarming around, amused and grinning like a child.
To all the performers, raise the glass up. Thank you for making our weekend so light. Oh by the way, I won in spin and win. I got a Sentosa Eco-bag and a Magnet.

Leslie's Tagaytay

ABBEY:
Puno ang parking lot, which means puno ang restau.
We were attended naman agad ng staff nila. In 5 minutes or so, nakaupo na kami. Syempre we tried their specialty, bulalo.
4 kaming adult at si Janise and it only cost less than 2500. Sobrang sarap sa Leslie's. Hindi nga nagkamali yung ibang reviews na nabasa ko :)

WILL: After the mega adrenaline rush gave us by Enchanted Kingdom, John drove us up to city of Tagaytay. =) Actually dapat sa Baguio, kaso medyo late na. hehe..
Me and Baby just let Den decide where we should eat for dinner. We then turned left to one of a place called themselves as Leslie's.
Jampacked. Ang daming diners. We ordered crispy pata and steaming bulalo tapos I forgot kung ilang rice. hehe..
Sobrang lamig sa tagaytay nun kahit April and with El Nino pa nun, kaya nagsebo agad ang sabaw and we request for re-heat. Bloated, ayun, taka-out ang mga viands.
     Recommended.
