Chopsuey Recipe

Ingredients:
Cauliflower
Brocolli
Bell pepper (red and green)
Fishballs
Chicken liver
Garlic (minced)
Onion (medium; thin slices)

Depends on you how much vegetables you'll eat.
Separate cauliflower and brocolli into florets. Slice bell peppers vertically about 1/8 of an inch in thickness.
Slice the fishballs into quarters. Cut the chicken liver into bite-size pieces.

Saute onion and then garlic. Then put in the chicken liver.
Add the brocolli and cauliflower and stir fry them.
Add a quarter cup of water and then mix the bell pepper and fishballs. Simmer for a couple of minutes and serve.

VERDICT
WILL: I am longing for this viand. But I chose not to include this in any of our weekly menu because it requires a lot of vegetables and I am certain that we will last for 2 days before it will be all gone. Haha. But that week, I can't fight that urge haha. I asked abbey to cook it.

Wohooo! The crunchiness and sweetness of the half-cooked vegetables and the saltiness of chicken liver is an awesome combination. :)

Ahmm, we do not ate it for 2 days, we have it for 3 hahaha! Anyways, thanks to microwave for the re-heating process :) Thanks Baby for sumptuous meal.

PappaRich Singapore | Malaysian Delights

ABBEY: We went hungry before doing our weekly grocery. So we stopped by Papparich (Waterway Point B1-17) as we are craving for Nasi Lemak. A couple of minutes of waiting and then we were given a table. Write what you want in the order sheet and press the green button, and their staff will come.

I got Fried Rice Special with Fried Chicken Thigh for $10.90. It comes with pappadum also.

It was flavorful and I can't stop munching on the thigh as well as the rice. It filled my hunger and ready to go for my next task.

WILL: Every Friday, we are late to be out of our office by almost an hour but that weekend...it was really late. So we just decided to dine out before we get our weekly grocery. This is our second time to visit PappaRich. Our first is at Suntec Branch and this time is at their newly established Waterway Punggol.

I am craving for Nasi Lemak and got that quick fix in there. We queued for 10 minutes or less and waited for the food to be served for another 10 minutes. It is worth the wait. The rice, the crispy fried chicken skin and tender meat (not so bloody) of it is really awesome. Yum, yum, yum!!! ($11.90)

10/10. :) Oh, you can feel the staffs' hearts in serving their diners.

Stuff'd - Mexican. Turkish. Delicious.

ABBEY: When we did grocery after office and have no time to cook, we stopped by Stuff'd in basement of Waterway point. Quesadillas ran out so I got beef and chicken burrito.I said to add more cheese and then realized that's why quesadillas is not available :)

In the burrito, there were rice, beans, guacamole and hot sauce. Within seconds, it was wrapped and we're ready to go. When we got back, we hurriedly munch on it. It was delicious. The ingredients blended well and the hot sauce gave some kicks. Next time I'll try the quesadillas.

Yeah, the second time we went quesadillas is available. The wrap was put in the grill and topped with cheese. Then for the fillings I got tomato, lettuce, cucumber chicken. I picked habanero and mayo cucumber for the sauce. I'm salivating when it being wrapped; can't wait to start eating it.

At home, yes, it was delicious like the burrito. Not bad for SGD8.8.

WILL: Who in here that experienced cravings for a shawarma? I know I am not alone. *wink-wink* And that is why my heart is overflowing of joy once my husband or I is somewhere near at Tampines, in that we can but some of the affordable shawarma.

Luckily, Stuff'd decided to establish a store at Punggol Waterway. Nearer I can say have a delectable taste of sauces. What's my favorite? Their chicken shawarma with splashed with habanero sauce and mayo-cucumber. Yummmmmm!!!

It became a habit that this is our dinner for almost every Friday. Haha! Try it. Warning! Long queue on dinner time. :)

Pan Seared Tilapia in Garlic Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:
3-4 tilapia fillets
1 whole garlic (minced)
2 chili padi (minced)
2-3 tbsp brown sugar
Salt and pepper

Sauce:
Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan.
Saute garlic then the chili.
Lower the heat and mix in brown sugar until it melts.
Add water as desired. Don't put too much as the sauce will become thin.

Fish:
Put 3-5 tbsp of oil in pan with high heat.
Once oil is hot, fry the fish for 3-5 minutes each side.

Put the fish in a container and top it with the sauce.
Place a lid in the container so heat will be trapped.
Serve with white rice.

VERDICT
WILL: I always want to have something to look forward to in our weekly meal. Last week, the new thing to cool and try is the Pan Seared Tilapia with Garlic and Chili Sauce. I saw that on Chrizzy's facebook album. And so, I bugged my personal chef to cook it for me. Hehe.

The taste? The chili and garlicky and sweet sauce is fighting against each inside my mouth. The soft texture of tilapia is maximized the experience.

Love it! For sure this will make to my list for every month.

Colour Your Buses by LTA Singapore : Lush Green Won

ABBEY: Land Transportaion Authority unveiled two new colors of bus; red and green. Red represents Singapore and the green for the lush greenery of the city state. They will let the people vote which color will be official. One of their road shows was held at Vivo City where me and my wife got a chance to board the public transport and get the feel of the new giants of the road.

The new buses have USB ports where you can charge your devices. It is more spacious.

The staircase of double-deckers are genius. It has two sets. One for going up and one for going down. No more bottlenecks when boarding and alighting.

Congratulations Singapore for this endeavor.

WILL: Singapore government is serious in upgrading its buses and trains for a better service they can offer to its residents.

Weeks ago, they unveil the winner for the "Colour Your Buses" voting contest. Lush Green won (woooohoooo!) and they were scheduled to exhibit the new bus in three different locations and we waited them at VivoCity.

It made me smile just seeing the color "green" bus parked outside mall. My smile accelerated  into extensive delight when I stepped in to the new friendly giants of Singapore's roads. The seat and its cover, the 2 exits (for the second decker passengers), the usb port for phone charging, and the emergency breakable glass ate the new things you can find in that buses.

I can't wait to see those bus roaming around the Little Red Dot.

The Game Of Thrones Experience: Worlds Of Westeros - HBO Asia (Ion Orchard)

ABBEY: Winter is coming... Oh no, the sixth season of Game of Thrones will be airing April 26, 2016. And we're privileged that they conduct roadshow at Basement 4 of Ion Orchard Mall from April 2-7.

It exhibits the storyboards, the sword replica of Ned Stark, the Walker and others. You can also have a virtual reality tour of the elevator of the wall. We're not able to see it as waiting time is almost two hours. A snap in green screen will have you posed with the dragon.

But for me the most fun part is to have an opportunity to seat in the Iron Throne. Wow, it is great to be a king :)

WILL: The people now are going berserk because the wait will finally over! But HBO & Starhub heightens up the excitement further more by just putting up "Game of Thrones: World of Westeros" at Ion Orchard.

We went there to checkout the iron throne but they exceed my expectation due they exhibit the actual swords used, storyboards, a 4D wall and a green screen for a photo-op for with Targaryen's dragon.

Thanks to the sponsors. Can't wait to see the series this month! :)

Garlic and Onion (as you desired)
Tomato Sauce
Jumbo pasta shells
Ricotta cheese
1/2 cup grated Cheddar Cheese
Spinach
1/ cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Minced Chicken (marinated in 2 tablespoon of soy sauce, pepper and salt)
Pepper and Salt to taste

Blanched the spinach and minced it.
Stir fry the minced chicken. Set aside.
Sauté garlic and onion and add on tomato sauce. Once you see tiny bubbles, turn off the fire and coat the bottom of the baking pan with this sauce.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta shells and cook for half the cooking time on the package. Drain and set aside.

Preheat the oven for 120 degrees Celsius.

In a bowl, mix together the ricotta, parmesan, cheddar cheese, stir fried chicken, minced spinach add some pepper. Stir until combined. Fill each half-cooked shell with the mixture and place on the coated pan. Top the shells with the remaining sauce. Sprinkle on the Parmesan cheese. Cover with a foil and bake for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, take off the foil and add grated cheddar cheese and put back to the oven for another 15 without a foil.

Serve with tasty bread! Enjoy!

VERDICT
ABBEY: I should be the one making this dish. But I think Wilma got tired of waiting since I've been sick. So she took the matters on her own hands.

I saw her prepare it and she got a hard time in cooking the shells. They were very brittle even though only a couple minutes in boiling water. But she managed to cook them perfectly.

The stuffings is a mixture of riccota cheese, spinach and mozarella.
It was delicious but I prefered its taste after overnight and reheated. The ingredients mixed well giving it a complete taste: sour, salty and sweet.

SO PHO (So Good) - Vietnamese Restaurant

ABBEY: I got fever, cough and cold for a week. Once feeling slightly better after dosages of tablets, I longed for soup. Anyways, that's what the doctor told me to eat.

I got a bowl of Pho Dac Biet; slices of beef and meatballs in Vietnamese Pho. This costs less than 10sgd. The taste was good and relieves me of my sickness. The lime juice really put the zesty and tangy taste.

A couple of slurps then my bowl was already empty. The branch we went is at Waterway Point Punggol (01-28).

WILL: Abbey's down with a flu for the second time in year 2016. I do not have time to cook for a soup and the best to do is to buy for take out. At So Pho's newest branch which is located at Punggol Waterway, I ordered my usual PHỞ GÀ and PHỞ ĐẶC BIỆT for my sick husband.

Their serving is too huge, their soup is pretty tasty and noodles are perfect. Half of my bowl was passed to Abbey, I am so way full!

This restaurant made to my list!! :) 'Till next time guys! See you again!
