Sabio By The Sea at Quayside Isle (Sentosa Island)

ABBEY: After a heavy brunch at Miska, we went to Sabio by the Sea (still at Quayside Isle) for coffee and their famous dessert; Salty Butter Caramel Lava Cake..

I got a cappucino. The taste is not that strong but creamy. I enjoyed the dessert specially when the filling flowed down like lava after the cut. The caramel was not too sweet which is ok for me and it really went well with the ice cream.

WILL: We walked down the Quayside Isle on intention to make some spaces for our dessert. Yes! I won’t waste my time and $2 bus fee not to try the well known house signature dessert of Sabio by the Sea... the Pastel de Mantequilla Salada Carmelo de Lava or Salty Butter Caramel Lava Cake.

All is offering Chocolate Lava so, this is a new thing to explore to.

We partnered the Caramel Lava Cake with hot drinks. Tea for me, coffee for Abbey! Gosh! On instant, it was written in my fave list. Haha!

Go on take your date here at Quayside Isle. You will never forget the experience.

Miska Cafe at Quayside Isle (Sentosa Island)

ABBEY: My lovely wife planned this brunch date. We visited Miska at Sentosa Cove. You can catch a bus going there at Harbourfront Bus Interchange.

The view is great and relaxing; yacht, smiling people and sunny weather.

I got Doner and Rice. The chicken and veal is tender and moist. I eat them without the sauce (as I didn’t want the taste) and its good. I like the rice. The butter on it made me crave for more.

WILL: Husband’s brain is quite stressed. Why? He is joggling shifting job, 2 trainings, my constant reminder of blogposts, and family affairs. And one day, he blurted out “I want to go to a beach and relax!”, haha!

I cannot provide that request, why? No more leave is available for me. All used up! Bleh! And to accommodate that Abbey’s wish, I told him that I set-up a mystery date place. Tandaannnn! He wanted to feel sea breeze, We went to Sentosa’s Quayside Isle.  It is just beside W Hotel.

We took taxi from Harbourfront bus Interchange and alight at right after the parking spaces of yachts.

We dined at Miska Cafe. I went for Falafel! The size is a shocker. Their serving is for giants. Haha! I inly finished half and Abbey is so full that he do not have the audacity to take some of it. Two thumbs up for Miska’s Falafel.

Keep an eye on their alcoholic promotions. Booze and food plus beautiful scenery equals total relaxation.

VERDICT
WILL: Sometimes, all we need is a simple meal.

And that is reason why Abbey cooked Shahouka that day. Less than 20mins it is all ready! Imagine? A nutritious and yet tasty food only costs you only two main ingredients. Egg and tomato.

Thanks Abbey for exploring different cuisine to light up our daily dinner. :)
