The Three Musketeers

ABBEY: This is another premiere that we had. It was shown in Shaw Lido at Orchard. Acting of the musketeers are great. Their house help did a good job too by giving funny punchlines. And for Mila, wow, she's so beautiful. The dress and hairstyle complement her very well. The story is good but you will be kept on waiting for the sequel as the war unfolds.

WILL: Another free premiere night ticket. ;) thanks baby, he won this from F*** magazine. This time we have it at our dream theater, the Shaw Lido. Again thank you baby, we got this on 3D.
Three musketeers is my kind of movie, i just don't know why. But i am fascinated how the people lived their lives on that era. Era of war and deception.
Love it and i will be waiting for part two. I hope next year, it will be free again ;)

ChunkFest 2011 - Ben & Jerry's Singapore

ABBEY: We like Ben and Jerry's ice cream, that's why we were glad when we knew that they'll be conducting a Chunk Fest. It was held at the Promontory. Each guest received a red tag upon entrance; few feet away is the money exchange boot.

Singapore dollar bills were exchanged to Faircoins for the guests to be able to buy goods at the fair. A scoop of ice cream is 6 faircoins and 10 faircoins for 2. Other booths offer food, "moo"-nicure for girls, treasure-hunting and for charity as well. Concert kicked off at 7pm which kept the crowd in party mode.

WILL:  Long wait is over, thank you so much Ben&Jerry's for this ChunkFest 2011. Here, i indulged in a double scoop cup. Phish and choco fudge, we really love any of Ben & Jerry's flavor.
Oops! This fest is not only drowning yourself to ice creams, they also offered some snacks, a game booth and concert of different bands
We love you Ben & Jerry's. Looking forward to the next year chunkfest.

Baked Tahong (Mussels) Recipe

mussels, cleaned
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
salt and pepper to taste

1  Boil mussels in a medium saucepan filled with 4 cups of water, cover. Cook until the shells open. Remove the top cover of the mussels. Set aside.

2  Combine mayonnaise, cheese and garlic. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper.

3  Spread the mixture on the mussels. Arrange mussels on a baking tray.

4  Bake in oven toaster for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.

ABBEY: I'm not a fan of seafood as I'm allergic to them. When Wilma told me that she'll cook baked tahong, I'm kind of hesitant about the idea. She should have the them sauted with garlic, onions, and ginger. When I arrived home, I smelled a strong aroma of garlic and cheese. That was good and I almost empty the plate of mussels in no time. The newly cooked rice complemented the tahong as well. For precautionary measure I drank Coke for the allergic reactions :) That dinner is great.
