Clementi Mall

Abbey:
We planned to get to this mall numerous times. Its location is out of our way with respect to our place. It's way too far. So one day when I picked her up at her office, we decided to have dinner there, but still we were hesitant to go. We rode the MRT and alighted at Clementi station. Just like other mall, it is integrated in the railway transit. Fashion boutiques, electronic shops, jewelry stores, and diners can be seen in the mall. We tried to eat at a Korean restaurant, but the queue is long. Minimum waiting time is one hour. We ended up at their food court. We had Japanese chicken curry rice and pork katsudon. Our dessert is at Baskin Robbins. We stroll to see what other shops they have. Good to have set our feet on this newly opened mall.

WILL: Flyers of this mall is all around Tanjong Pagar. Curiosity hits, after office we rode the green line train and few stations we were there.
As we were there, disappointment of the place struck, we expect a big mall that housed many shops. Nothing special. They have just a good advertisement for you to drag yourself in to it.

Pizzeria L'Operatta

Abbey:
The shop is located at Icon Village, Gopeng Street. The shop caters a real Italian pizza; made with Italian flour, olive oil and cooked in a wood-powered furnace.  We got Marinara Pizza and carbonara spaghetti for 37sgd. The taste is good. Pizza is flavorful and got its distinct taste. The pasta is al-dente and have a very creamy sauce. A good way to have a dinner with your loved ones. Bellissimo!

WILL: I am so thankful that one of my Boss's Japanese friend asked us out to have a quick lunch here. This is the newest Pizza restaurant at Icon Village.
I really love pizzas, that's why after that lunch, I promised to myself that I will treat my husband there.
And my promise was not broken :) We ate our dinner after my office hour and ordered a Marinara Pizza. It was so good but it will be better if you will spike some chili flakes and chili oils. I am drooling while typing my part of this blog.. hehe. Recommended!
Icon Village is just behind the Amara Hotel, Alight at Tanjong Pagar green line.

Cowhead Biscuits

Abbey:
This is way awesome. I like most is their black variation. It is like an Oreo cookie but less sweet fillings. Be sure to gargle after eating else the crumbs will stay in between your teeth. If the black one is not your thing, you can try milk sandwich cracker. Upon opening the package, you can already smell the nice aroma of milk. For me, I eat it one after the other. Eat black, then milk, then black, then milk again. Oooops, got to get to work again :)

WILL:  Actually, this is better than what I think. The best for me among the three flavors is the cocoa biscuits filled in by hazelnut. Tapos samahan mo pa ng mainit na tsaa. Sarap!
ooh, I almost forgot, this was made from Philippines. :D
