ABBEY: We were subscribers of Only in Japan channel by John Daub for a while now. We really enjoyed the videos and we definitely want that fresh wasabi :)

Then John hosted a spelling bee here in Singapore. He took that time to hold a meetup. The event registrants were only 37 but the turnout is a huge crowd. He was even surprised by the support.

He and Kanae brought gifts and it was distributed to the winners of Rock-Paper-Scissors.

The meetup was fun and we get to be in his YoutubeGo and took some snaps with him.

WILL: Abbey and I became his big fan when he started video blogging Japan. He told to one of his video, due to the tsunami, the tourism declined outrageously in Japan that time. To take his part to help uplift the traveler's sector, he started to showcase to the world the different, hidden and lovely places in Japan! 

Oh yeah! Big fan! That is why we were at Sentosa to meet John face to face. 

Nothing changed! He is the same guy full of energy! He is the same guy always smiling! He is the same guy that plays a joke! No wonder Abbey loves to watch him every time he has a new video. 

Kanae and John have a bunch of stuffs carried for their vlog supporters but they were shocked of the numbers of attendees! Haha. They gave away the loots through mass jack-n-poy! Wohhooo! I enjoyed that challenge! And I won! Bleh!

WILL: The showtime for Lion King is unsual for dinner time. We will ran out of time if we will dine after the show. Therefore, we ate our late lunch at Black Knight at Marina Bay Sands. Sounds expensive right? Wrong! An appetizer, main course and dessert cost us not more than $35.00. 

Black Knight Hotpot have their lunch deals Monday-Sunday and this is indeed a big saving for people who wants to roam around at MBS and eat at a luxurious-peaceful place. Please skip the queue at the hawker stalls near the ice skating rink and head over at this place. 

For days I am drooling for fish head curry but that will drill a hole to our monthly budget. Haha. Happily saw that they are offering it for half the cost of other restaurants are serving. 

The taste of their fish curry head? Yum! Yum! Yummmm! The creamy soup has this sweet and yet have a kick of spiciness. They have a good portion of vegetables. The fish?  What fish? The fish is tender and fresh that it took me few minutes to take all the meat out of its fish bones. 

This is a romantic place for you to indulge your date! Go ahead! Book at Black Knight now!

WILL: There's a long list of variation of food you can indulge in Sentosa and Marrybrown is one of the fastfood that you can try in the island. And this is the only Marrybrown branch islandwide! The name somewhat sounds like Westerner but don't be fooled...it is a local company from Malaysia. So, do not be intimidated, you can afford the food in here. 

They have a good location, they are just beside the iFly and Luge. Now, you will know that is quite packed every time it is dinner time. 

I ordered fish and chips! Oh lucky! Their fried fish is crispy but not drenched in oil! Dip it at the tartar sauce. Perfect!

Why is there only one branch here in Singapore?
