The Tastings Room

ABBEY: After going to another sale of Body Shop, we went to this diner at Marina Square. It is a very cozy place; interiored with black upholstery and plays with shape of circles and squares. We availed their August special-Sun Kissed tomato crayfish pasta only for 14sgd. I got BLT sandwich in a wrap. They are flavorful and taste great. A lot of different flavors on every bite. Usual price of coffee or tea is 5sgd, be we got it for 2.5sgd.

WILL: As I browse the web, The Tastings caught my attention for their 2.50$ promo on their coffee and tea. ;) we were about to buy some goodies at Suntec for pasalubongs and we need some place to have our mirienda, glad this is just located at Marina Square.
When we reached the place Abbey's stomach reacts and want some food to indulge in. Then we ordered a BLT in wraps and sun-kissed tomato crayfish pasta.
The pasta was served first, can be shared by two persons and it is incredible, flavors of tomato and meat of crayfish was well blended with its al dente pasta. The BLT wraps, the best BLT for me as of now. The saltiness of bacon, the unique sauce, sweetness of unknown fruit (hehe), and egg yolk came together to excite my taste buds!
The interiors is very nice and relaxing. Very recommendable for a tea time.

Homemade Pizza ;)

TO DO:
Research, research, research. Surfing the net on how to make dough, sauce and toppings for the pie.
Dough:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup milk
6 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead it. Make sure the ingredients are well mixed and until the dough is smooth.
Roll it to a ball and press it with rolling pin.
Sauce (red):
1 big can of tomato sauce
1 small can of tomato paste
1 clove garlic; minced
Crushed dried basil
pepper and salt
oregano

Saute garlic in olive oil. Once it changed color, put on the tomato sauce and paste. Put basil, pepper, salt and oregano to taste.

Sauce(white) - instead of tomato sauce and paste replace them with milk and parmesan cheese.

Pre-heat the oven at 425F. Put sauce in the dough. Top it with cheese, meatballs, ham, bacon, bell pepper, etc.

WILL:

I am the one that should do this pizza project but I slept for two hours that afternoon and when I get up I saw Abbey already cooking the pizza sauce and the toppings. He is also the one who do the no-yeast dough. Sya na lahat. Taga tikim n lng ako. Haha.
Well, now, the verdict: sarap! The dough taste like the greenwich :) the toppings syempre dahil di tinipid eh ang sarap tlga! This pizza served as our dinner and breakfast kinabukasan.

Bad Teacher

ABBEY: Ok, I admit it, Cameron is hot :) But her character in the movie isn't; not only a bad teacher but bad also as a person. Imagine spending a lot of money to enhance her twins just to have the man of her dreams. The good thing is she realized it all before its too late. It's nice how she busted that control freak colleague of her sending her to the worst school. Haha.

WILL: Yeah! She is a certified bad teacher! Hehe.
The story was about how she can get a rich man who can marry her and to get herself off from her life. This kind of ladies do really exist. Materialistic and uncontented and bitch who taught that having a big boobies will be the answer for man's attention.
The cat fight was so nice, that "ma-epal" teacher reminds me of someone. Haha. Well out of 10 this is 7 for me.
