Mt. Faber Singapore

ABBEY: I've seen the ads of Jewel Box and dreaming of having a dinner there with Wilma. I know that plan will materialize soon kasi naakyat ko na yung Mount Faber. You can get to Alexandra arch 6 stops after you ride bus #100 at Harbourfront Centre. Signs giving directions and distances are placed all throughout the trek. You will appreciate nature's beauty as you go. Tall trees, vines, twigs, and insects.
When we reached the top, nakita ko na yung Jewel Box. After that we rode a bus pababa at kumain ng paborito kong chicken rice.

WILL: In times, it is better to explore different places on foot. Better to lay on the power of your feet.
We started hiking Mt. So we have 2 kms. to fill in and lot of sweat to produce.
Breathing in the fresh air from the forest to where we stand at Forest Walk is such a gift, yun nga lang medyo jumpy ako for the reptiles. When we saw a wooden bridge. We awed. Shocks, it is so beautiful. The Hendreson Waves should not be missed by anyone. The architecture is so great, the view of full grown trees and ang nakakalula na taas nya. You can have a picnic here, a photo session or even a sightseeing lng. You'll enjoy it.
After that ribs like bridge. Jewel Box is the next attraction, but we don't ate our dinner there, maybe next time. We continue to hike the peak of Mt. Faber. here, you can see the view of Singapore. It's a city but so green.
Tired. We decided to take the bus for our way to dinner. But no regrets at all.

Singapore Zoo

ABBEY:
Ang ganda ng zoo na'to. First time we planned na pumunta dito, naligaw pa kami. Wala palang bus service sa bus stop every Saturday and public holidays. And it was too late for us para habulin pa yung service sa kabilang bus stop. 3pm na rin nun at magsasara na sila. Kaya on the 2nd try, maaga na kami. We were on the road by 10am. We purchased them for no more than 30sgd each. Once we got the ticket, we entered the zoo. Then we saw the white tiger, flamingos, free-ranging oragutans, otters, ostrich na muntik pa akong matuka, kangaroo and joey, at marami pang iba. Meron ding silang garden na may iba't ibang species ng plants, both vegatation and ornamental.

You can also buy sodas or water sa vending machine and have lunch/snack at the restaurants. Kung pagod ang lakad mo, merong unlimited tram rides, at one-way boat ride.

Be sure to bring umbrella para handa umulan man o tumindi ang sikat ng araw.

Best part nung zoo is yung animal shows. They showcase the talents nung mga animals. You have to be strategic para wala kang mamiss sa show.

We ended the trip by filling our tummy with finger-licking good KFC chicken. :)

WILL: I've been to some zoos in Manila, Caloocan, and even Tagaytay. But I think this is the best zoo I have in my mind right now.
On entrance, a smile of very courteous staffs will greet you. Don't forget to pick some maps, u might get lost and missed the shows of the clever animals.
I really like the fact that is so clean, there is no smell of animals' poops and pees. Very organized and the giant trees are there to give natural shelters for different species of monkeys.
They have also offers a boat ride, unforgettable.
We don't enter a place na puro reptiles. Why? eh Ayoko eh, bakit ba? hehe!
Mark a whole day for this event. A good day to spent with your loved ones. Bonding time with nature and animals.

The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

ABBEY:
Hehehe. Wala naman kaming pera kaya nagtaka ako. MBS is very awesome and majestic. Ang ganda nung tatlong building. Tapos connecting the 3 buildings on top was an ark-shaped structure. Tulad ng ark dun sa 2012. Hehe.

Opposite ng MBS is yung the Shoppes.

WILL: At Marina Bay Station (North South Line) look for Exit A (Bus Stop) board bus nos. 133, 97 and 97e. Or better, if you don't have the patience transferring from trains to another bus.. take a cab :).
The intricate design of The Shoppes is amazing. We went there a month ago. So di pa halos bukas ang stores. It's like that I am in a Duty Free shops sa mga international airports. If you have a lot of spare money to spend on, why not try this exquisite mall. I even saw a lingerie worth SGD1,700.00 mahal pa sa suite ni Abbey.
They have a gondola look-a-like a $10.00 ride. You'll just be driven by man on the stretch of mall, back and forth.
Don't worry for your pocket, an air-conditioned hawker is available inside. Dami ding filipino working inside each boutiques, nakakatuwa.
We will go back there, for sure. :)
