The Body Shop - Moisturizer

ABBEY: 
We always wait for their promotions of body wash. Those citrus-scented products is relaxing and invigorating. Prices starts from 12sgd but only 5 when they're in promo. Not bad huh. They also gave us samples of moisturizer. It worked for my skin and haven't developed any rash. Thanks Body Shop.

WILL: My husband registered me to be a member of The Body Shop. Every time they have new products, of course they notify us to try it on. So we have this product for free. One night, we tried this moisturiser. It indicates to be compatible on all skin type, we applied on our faces, the smell is not that pleasant unlike other products. The feeling after an overnight, hmmm i can say a satisfactory result. One is enough. 

Sensodyne Toothpaste

ABBEY: I was very skeptical about this product when I'm watching their ads on tv, until I tested the toothpaste myself. Wilma bought it from Philippines. Unlike other toothpaste, it has no silky texture. Its rough like its telling you "hey, I'm starting to clean and protect you teeth". After brushing, just like a child who really wants to do what he's seen on tv, I went to the fridge and get a glass of cold water. Wow, it worked. Walang ngilo, kumbinsing. Tested and proven.

WILL: Sensodyne? Its not that we have sensitive teeth but this is nice for an extra protection. We bought back from Philippines priced not more than Php150 (SGD5). Very nice to try and we will keep in using. 

Marks & Spencer Lotion

ABBEY: 

This is what I buy for Wilma. The lotion have a good scent and they're affordable. The store has a wide variety to choose from and the prices ranges from 7 to 10sgd. They always have promotions so you can get more products out of your budget. Your skin will be very happy to indulge in variations of lotions.

WILL: This is the arrays of lotions that I indulge in. Why I love them? More cheaper than others (SGD8-15) hehe, its classic scent and the not that greasy feel. 
      They have their branches almost in every malls here in Singapore, pero suki kami s Vivo City :D 
      

Mary Chia - The Beauty & Slimming Specialist

Abbey:
Wilma told me to book a schedule for manicure and pedicure before our wedding. My feet took me to NEX mall again. I inquired in 2 or 3 services but they're all fully booked. I found Mary Chia at the 3rd floor. They are free on my preferred time. 150SGD will include couple manicure and pedicure,  and foot spa with massage. Wilma enjoyed the massage very well. Her feet were aching and its a relief to have that massage.

WILL: I need something blue, and I decided that it will be my toenails. Abbey set an appointment of 730pm to Mary Chia NEX Branch. The foot massage is so great, i can even sleep in their couch. The manicure and pedicure?, it will be my first and last. 

GAP Aftershave

Abbey:
We purchased the aftershave on Nex Mall during the holidays. I'm not always using that, I'm used only with warm water :) So I decided to try it. After bathing, I shaved and put on the lotion. It smells good and manly. I felt I became more handsome and attractive. I got my confidence boosted. Wilma also told me that I smell good too :)

WILL: Sale for 50% off. So I bought 2 for Abbey. Extra pogi points for my baby! :) 

Let's Face It

ABBEY:
I always get teary eyes after having a facial. The good thing is that all your pimples will be removed leaving your face smooth. Their staff explains their products and procedures very well. All in all their services are good.

WILL: Let's face it, not only woman needs a facial so whenever I go in here, i see to it that Abbey will take a session too. What i love with this salon?, my skin doesn't react too much on their creams and lotions. The cleaning will only cost a 220Php and with mask a 450Php and above. The ambiance is quite relaxing. By the way, I'm their frequent customer for their waxing services. Love their hot wax.
      I get this facial cleaning for at least thrice a year. 

Oral-B Vitality

ABBEY:
This is definitely the toothbrush brand recommended by most dentist, at least for the electronic toothbrush. It was manufactured by Braun. It seems that I have bad dental habits that's why everybody is giving me a toothbrush. I like how the brush works as it always gives me a feeling of superb cleanliness. Thanks Baby :)

WILL: Tay, bili mo ako nyan. Sepilyo yan ng mga tamad! - then my i stopped to ask for one again. 
I scheduled Abbey for dental checkup last October and he told me he wants a toothbrush that the dentist use.
Haunted by his request, I bought one for him on a discounted price of 21sgd.
To my surprise, Chat told me that she have a gift for Abbey's bday and she also bought a oral b vitality.
The ending, I am using the one that I bought. Haha! Thanks Chat :). Love it. :)
The freshness of the mouth and cleanliness of the teeth is beyond what we expect. It's like everyday teeth were cleaned by dentists. 

Bausch + Lomb Contact Lenses

Abbey: I got this as a Christmas gift from my baby. She told me to try contact lenses for a change :) I was hesitant at first because its a pain getting the lenses to my eyes. I ended up with teary, red eyes and a runny nose. First week of use, its good. Wilma always puts them for me. Now on the second week, its my turn. So far its a piece of cake. I hope I will master it. Haha. Thanks for the new pair of eyes. It only cost 200SGD for a year. Not bad huh.

WILL: Its a long argument. Pros and cons for him to wear contact lenses. But when, i am always squinting my eyes for me to see some signs, Abbey made a deal that i should have a eye checkup too before he will get the lenses. 

So we headed to NEX to look for an optometrists. Abbey's eyes 225 - 220 last year was only 175-200.
       
After some tests, we pay the lenses not more than that we expect. Its for one year supply and every pair can be used for a month.
        
Happy for Abbey :)  Now he can put his contacts on without my help. 

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid (SHA)

ABBEY:

I'm always skeptical regarding products that will be applied on the face. Because it will leave patches of red marks if my skin harshly reacts on the it. After clean-up, when Wilma told me to try Hada Labo, I replied "Ikaw na lang siguro ang magsubok". She gave me a smirk :) I applied it. My face was not irritated. The product worked well on me. My cheeks were soft until the next day. We managed to its cost around SGD 25/100ml bottle.

WILL: There is no Hada Labo in Philippines, so when they announced that they are giving away free samples, I did not have second thought to request for it. It took a month before this came to our pad. 
      After cleaning our face, we applied the face lotion. Then the feeling is so intense, so soft. Indeed, it hydrates our face. Thank you Hada Labo for this product.

Shower Gel - The Body Shop

ABBEY:
Gusto ko yung amoy nung mga shower gel ng Body Shop, particularly
yung mga citrus fragrances. Ang bango ng buong banyo :) Tapos talagang feeling refreshed ka. Kaya when on sale, we took the opportunity to buy 2 bottles. I hope mas dumami pa yung time ng sale nila at mas madaming products including sa sale :) Good job, Body Shop.

WILL: Okay, okay, okay. I know, I am kuripot and why would I buy some kind of shower gels like this that will cost us S$12.90 but when I saw their poster, shocks, its only S$5.00. So we bought 2 kinds of these. :) 
      So what will you expect with the Body Shop's shower gel? The scent will not leave your body as soon as you wash it down, it still lingers.
      

Astring-O-Sol

Abbey:
Well, I'll admit it. Nitong college na lang ako ulit gumamit ng mouthwash. Kasi back when I was in high school, kinuha ko yung bote ng mouth wash ni Mama, then I used it for the first time, medyo napadami yata yung drops na nailagay ko. Ayun medyo may burning sensation sa bibig ko.Nadala na ako.  Kaya hindi na talaga ako nung nanguha, hehe, at gumamit ng mouth wash. I prefer Smints. Pero sinubukan ko ulit> Nakuha ko na ang tamang timpla. Now, I'm sure I have totally fresh breath and clean mouth. Huwag lang kumain ng sibuyas or bawang :)




Will: What is a mouthwash or mouth rinse? It is a product use to enhance oral hygiene. Many companies producing this antiseptic rinse, why Astring-o-sol?
      
Astring-o-sol gives me the satisfaction of totally cleaned mouth. One reason for it is the only concentrated sa market, very nice for the budget.
      
It only cost not greater than 100 pesos and u can use it for 2 weeks.
