ABBEY: Aside from giving ourselves a body massage we also booked for facial treatments. And I can say it is a great experience. After filling up a form for customer profile we were led to a room to get started. 

Beginning with cleansing then exfoliation with steam (A first for me. I didn’t know it can be combined). Then the main event; extraction. I expect they will “dig” a lot. Haha. After the pain came the high frequency to close the pores followed by cold light machine. This is where I was getting sleepy. Then the eye massage. My eye-bags really got “offloaded” and not that much puffed. After that is the face mask. I woke up by the time they took off the mask and apply the hydration syrum and sunblock. I also got a nice shoulder massage to get me going. 

The staff are not that pushy when offering their products and services which is a plus for me.

WILL: It’s going 6 month from our last facial and Abbey is telling (not complaining haha!) that he can feel the white heads popping out from his nose. Since we are not satisfied on the facial cleaning of the last salon we visited, I googled the best deep facial cleaning and found good reviews of The Cozy Room.

We alighted at Somerset and you need to walk around 10minutes to reach their place. Upon arrival, we were asked to take a seat the usual routine of checking your skin and recommending a higher priced package for you to get. Well, we sticked to the Premium Pore Extraction with a 50% off on its original price of $288. 

The reviews were all TRUE! This is the most painless deep extraction that I experienced. I commend the specialist that she really has a light hand for extraction. Because you know, going through a facial is sometimes like you are going to a war. Haha.

Glad that we experienced this luxurious facial here in Singapore! Totally recommended if you have facial problems!

Lenskart - Cheap Spectacles in Singapore

ABBEY: Time to have new specs and we went to Lenskart to get them. Max really gave a great customer service from choosing the frames to eye checkup. 

The frame will take more time to be delivered so we were told there will be a delay. We got two pairs for the price of one. Good deal! We also have cashback to purchase our contact lenses. My glasses were not fit to the frame properly though that’s why we went to the closest Lenskart branch and have it fixed. 

My new eyewear really looks good on me.

WILL: It’s almost more than 2 years that we didn’t go for eye health check. Sorry eyes! It is not our fault! Taking a new glasses is quite troublesome during pandemic era! 2022, the restrictions are quite loosening up, so we went to Lenskart Vivo City (Biggest Lenskart Store) to see what are the frames they are offering and if we can avail the buy-one-get-one promotion.

Because 2 years passed, of course the eyewear we have is already outdated. Luckily Lenskart have this groovy and professional frames that suits our age and needs.

We had the usual eye exams and because of some specific lenses that Abbey bought, it took our new eyewears for more than 4-weeks.

Best and Luxurious Steak in Singapore | Wolfgang's Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener - $300++ Lunch

ABBEY: A celebration calls for Wilma’s Natal Day as well as for our wedding anniversary. This time we got a table at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse. Yes, splurge and make memories. 

We grabbed the opportunity to taste the 5-course Wolfgang Experience. For appetizers we got tuna tartare, lobster salad and shrimp cocktail while dessert is a key lime pie. And for the main course we opted for lamb chops. Aside from that we requested for a serving of rib eye steak and a port wine. 

Timing is everything. While waiting for the entrees we were busy trying to finish the soup, and starters. The mains didn’t disappoint. They are tender, cooked to perfection and delicious. Each bite is indulgence. The key lime pie gave a refreshing taste to our pallet. It is tangy, sweet and sour. Perfect for my wine. Can I have another steak please?

WILL: Sometimes, there’s a craving that won’t be satisfied by a buffet. That is the right time to look for a specialty restaurant. In this case, we went to Wolfgang Steakhouse for a delectable steak fix. Wolfgang is one of the best rated steakhouse not only here in Singapore but based on Google search can say around the globe.

Restaurant is located at Intercontinental’s 3rd Floor. The ambiance is not that serene but the tables are pretty far that you can’t hear the other diners. The service is superb! It seems that the Wolfgang folks known you for years! Wolfgang totally meet my expectations for a fine dine restaurant.

I prefered The Wolfgang Experience. It is only available for lunch on a weekdays and it is comprised of appetizer, soup or salad, entrée with 2 sides and dessert. Appetizer alone will make your tummy full! Gladly, just ordered one of this lunch set. My entrée of choice was Australian Lamb Chops (SGD128), the meat is soft and the milky smell of the lamb is so inviting! drool.

I booked this lunch date and little did I know that Wolfgang and my husband talked and suprised me with a slice of birthday cake. Gosh! So touching!

Wolfgang Steakhouse is really recommended for you to try and to have a visit if you are longing for a quality steak.
