R&B Tea Singapore - Brown Sugar Boba milk with Cheese Brûlée

ABBEY: There are lots of bubble tea shops here in Singapore. And I’m confused which ones got the better taste than the others. Wilma brought one home from R & B Tea; Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cheese Brûlée. The flavor is rich and creamy. Not too sweet but pretty sure that sugar is off the charts for recommended daily allowance. But who’s counting? :) Glad to know there are options I can indulge with.

WILL: Many milk tea shops popping up here in Singapore and R&B is one of it that there’s always a long queue.

I tried a sip and I fell in love! Haha. R&B’s Brown Sugar Boba Milk with Cheese Brûlée, one of the drinks that you will always crave for. That luscious, salty and creamy cheese topping with the sweet combination of boba is a champ! Really, really live it.

But hey. Watch out the calories and sugar of this drink. A friendly reminder.

Tiong Bahru Bakery Safari

ABBEY: After being in “house-arrest” for three weeks of recuperation, I managed to get out. :)

Wilma and I met with Chat and Shaine at Tiong Bahru Bakery Safari for the long-planned exchange of supplies from Philippines. It will get you sweating going to the place. What do you expect? It is a safari. A tent-like structure will welcome you and don’t worry about the heat inside. They have giant fans and good air circulation. No mosquitoes as well. I got pulled pork sandwich partnered with a latte. It is a bit pricey but the quality of food is there. The pork is sweet and sour and the coriander seeds gave the tangy kick. The latte is good as it is. No need for additional sugar.

Good to catch up with friends in a good place.

WILL: Malls were overcrowded during weekends and we need to breathe real oxygen and not processed by air conditioning, there are many cafes offering an al fresco dining at the parks but Tiong Bahru themed cafe is unusual. It is a SAFARI!

The cafe was covered with tent in a middle of garden. Believe me or not, we do not feel hot because of the good ventilation. Their designs and accessories of course even the plates were in safari concepts. It seems that we are transported to Africa. Haha! Just missing the roaring lions and other animals.

The food? It is Tiong Bahru Cafe, what wold you expect? It is good! I love the Brie & Roasted Mushroom Croissant. The brie cheese gives a different punch in every bite!

Totally recommended! A good place to relax and catch-up with friends.

Liang Yi Foot Reflex - The Good TCM Healers

ABBEY: I got sick on the month of June and the first question the doctor asked me is “Are you stressed?”. Whoa! That escalated quickly. So to help me with my predicament, we went back to the basics; veggie diet, lemon-cayenne concoction on an empty stomach, vitamin C overdose and a massage.

We went to Liang Yi (Selatar Mall) for an hour of foot reflexology. Good thing there are no available seats so I got my massage laid down. The foot reflex made me relaxed and I enjoyed the session. Right points were hit and some of them I was not aware needed “kneading”. I’m satisfied with the service and will recommend to my friends.

WILL: Abbey is in process of curing his rashes and we are taking every opportunity that might help or expedite the healing. He overdosed himself with Vitamin C through fruits, he took enough and long sleeps and breathed in fresh oxygen from parks. Last thing to accomplish is relaxation through foot reflex.

I know that you already have the knowledge about how you can stimulate internal organs by pressing those points. So on that, we booked a foot reflexology at Ling Yi’s Seletar Mall branch via Fave. It only cost us $29.00.

We were guided to go into a room and we laid on the massage table for a reflex. They gave two hot compressed pillow that caused my neck and lower back to relax. The place is clean and no bad odours can be smelled. The people is not pushy to buy their package.

So how’s the massage? I am shocked that there are points that seems never been kneaded before. It is so unbelievably relax my body.
