Clash of Clans

ABBEY: Whenever I view memes through an iPad application I got ads to try Clash of Clans. But most of the time I turn them down. One day it was listed on the AppsGoneFree and it was priced at 7sgd. I don't know if this is the real price but I downloaded it anyway. It just sit down on my device for a long time. When I was bored and searching for a new game to play, I saw it then tried it. It was like Farmville-RedAlert- strategy game. Woah, Red Alert? I'm too old.

The game is good. You must put a good defense for your camp and offense if you will be raiding another camp. You can also join a clan which can help you for your strategy. You can ask for additional troops as well. But in turn, donate some also.

I observed that you can only attack or have revenge a particular camp for a number of times. This is a breather if you're on the defense. We still have a lot to accomplish on this game. I don't know if SuperCell will release a version for Android.

WILL: Me: What is that?
      Abbey: Clash of Clans
Me: Is that building an empire? Like Battle Realms?
      Abbey: Yes
      Me: Let me see.

And from there on, I took in-charge what should be done on Abbey's clan.
I love to play chess that maybe this kinds of games lure me. A strategy/building game.
Abbey got the iPad application for free and keep on updating to suffice the happiness of the user. Its almost a month when we started to play this and I am so addicted that I woke up in the eerie time just to check my clan.
Really nice game to heightened your skills and you can find some friends here too from different parts of the world.

Sizzling Tokwa Recipe

8 pcs tokwa or tofu (cubed)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 medium green capsicum (cubed)
2-3 chilies (finely chopped)
1 medium onion (chopped)
3-5 cloves of garlic (chopped)
Soy sauce

Deep fry the tokwa until golden brown and  set aside.
For the mayo sauce, mix mayo, soy sauce and hot water. Chip in a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir well. Add mayo or water for desired thickness.

Sauté onion and garlic and then the capsicum. Put in the tokwa and mayo sauce. Mix it until the mayo spread on the tokwa. Put more mayo as desired. Then mix in the chilies for the spicy kick. Simmer for a couple of minutes. Turn of the heat and cover it.
For serving, heat the sizzling plates. Put rice and tokwa on the plates. Pour mayo sauce for the sizzling effect.

VERDICT
WILL: Jeremiah's tofu recipe got my attention. So I asked my personal chef to do it!
He made some "renovations" because he lacked of some ingredients but Abbey's version is amazing too.
Try this, very delicious and healthy!

Singapore's Bukit Batok Nature Park

ABBEY: Where to go if you're tired or want to unwind after a week's work? Another perk in living in Singapore is that the city-state offers a lot of parks for the people to go outside, breath fresh and get in touch with nature. On my week off, Wilma asked me if we can go to Bukit Batok Nature Park and I said yes.

Bukit Batok Nature park has the prominent formation of stone which was quarried on earlier years. The site was preserved and now it is very serene and quiet. We found turtles and colorful birds along the way. It was a stress-relieving getaway for me and my wife.

WILL: That day, I took a half day leave in our office, to escape the rattling sound of the phones that keep on ringing, the hands that keep tapping the computer keys and relentless colleague's voice.
I need some fresh air to breathe and quite place to rest my ears, and one of the free and near park in our home that we never gone to is the Bukit Batok Nature Park.
As we walked through the walkway, you can hear many chirps from different birds. And the main attraction to that is the mountain that was quarried way before. The view is magnificent and the pond below it is very clear, you can see some turtles making some acrobatic skills in swimming.
Abbey and I tried their foot massage walk path. We have a very tired feet and this part of the park relaxes my tightened muscles.
There's a playground and fitness equipments. We played and childhood memories came rushing back.
Thanks Singapore for this lovely and free place to unwind!
