Ingredients:
Pork shoulder / beef brisket (thin slices)
3-5 cloves of garlic (minced)
1 pack of store-bought dumplings
Green onion
Eggs (yolks and white separated)
Boil 4-5 cups of water in a pot. Once boiling, put the pork and garlic until pork is tender. Add water as needed.
Put the dumplings and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes or until the dumplings are soft. Be careful when stirring the soup. The dumplings are fragile and break easily. Put salt and pepper to taste or fish sauce. Put the green onions and simmer for another minute.
For the eggs, beat the yolks. Put a little oil in a non-stick pan and make sure to cover the pan. Stove is at low heat.
Before putting the eggs, wipe the oil until only thin layer is there. Put the eggs. Turn of the stove. The remaining heat will cook the eggs.
Same thing to be done on the egg whites. Once cooked, let it cool. Roll it and cut into thin strips.
Put soup in the bowl and garnish with eggs. Enjoy.

Then, on that, Abbey knew what should be the next viand for that week. It will be Dumpling Soup.
It is a good timing to cook it. That will not be only for me but also for my sick housemate. Good Abbey!
The beef was deeply highlighted in the soup and all you can do is just eat. Sorry. No conversation should be made until I finish my food! Haha!
This will be in our comfort food list for sure.
