Care Bears

ABBEY:
I'm trying to search a present for Wilma. I checked almost all the gift shops but no luck. Then I remember, she told me she's having problem sleeping. I happened to see this bear on a toy shop. The character is named "Bedtime Bear". Mata pa lang nakakaantok na. :) I told her to look at it so she can also fell sleepy. I'm glad she liked it. Sweetdreams, baby.

WILL: I have a collection of these cute little bears when I was a child. Tanda ko pa yung electric fan nmin maraming nakadikit n stickers nito. Sobrang fan din ako ng tv series nila. hehe.
      As years passed, nakalimutan ko na rin sila. Abbey is so crazy to bought me something like this, kasi talagang kinilig ako. Hehe. All the memories from my collection came back, watches, crayons, barbies, storybooks and kurang-kurangan. and the taught of it, they are so many tlaga. Kasi when I was a child, bili mo ako nun - bili mo ako nyan, in exchange of grades. hehe.
      Love being a child as I love how Abbey treats me like a baby. :)

Bausch + Lomb Contact Lenses

Abbey: I got this as a Christmas gift from my baby. She told me to try contact lenses for a change :) I was hesitant at first because its a pain getting the lenses to my eyes. I ended up with teary, red eyes and a runny nose. First week of use, its good. Wilma always puts them for me. Now on the second week, its my turn. So far its a piece of cake. I hope I will master it. Haha. Thanks for the new pair of eyes. It only cost 200SGD for a year. Not bad huh.

WILL: Its a long argument. Pros and cons for him to wear contact lenses. But when, i am always squinting my eyes for me to see some signs, Abbey made a deal that i should have a eye checkup too before he will get the lenses. 

So we headed to NEX to look for an optometrists. Abbey's eyes 225 - 220 last year was only 175-200.
       
After some tests, we pay the lenses not more than that we expect. Its for one year supply and every pair can be used for a month.
        
Happy for Abbey :)  Now he can put his contacts on without my help. 

POMPEII

ABBEY:

This gallery exhibits the remains of the Pompeii after Mt. Vesuvius' eruption. The town is located on a basin- shaped landscape, so it collected all the ashes, lava and fury of the volcano. Only hours when the town was totally buried on debris. Artifacts like earthenware, coins, grind mills and frescoes were displayed. An eye-witness account were also documented. It showed fear and loss of hope for the people during the tragedy. Its a hard lesson to learn and also an eye-opener for us living now.

WILL: Saw the advert at the MRT station and Abbey told me that he wants to see it. I am bit hesitant due the price is quite high, SGD12.00. But when the National Museum announces its free entrance to all its exhibit, of course, we do not have second thoughts to see Pompeii.

      At the gate, you can feel a chill, you can see the casts of people and animals died in the volcanic eruption. The exhibit also portrays the abundance of this place.

      There is also a 3D movie that shows how the eruption and how this civilization ends. And after the tour in this exhibit, I have a one question in mind. What are the sins committed of Pompeii people that cause God to end their lives.
