Mr Coconut - Coconut Shake

ABBEY: Wilma was really excited when she saw the sign that Mr. Coconut will open a shop near us.

We tried their signature drink: Coconut shake. It was creamy and you can bite the bits and pieces of the coconut meat. Perfect amount of ice, coconut and sugar.

WILL: The huge buzz now is the different variances of milk tea that rose up in every corner of Singapore. Now, there is a contender to quench the sizzling heat here, the Coconut Shake

There is one branch newly opened at Waterway Point. Of course, Abbey and I tried it. The taste? Good! As in good that you will taste the real coconut, it was not overpowered by milk, sugar or ice. Texture is creamy and maybe you will enjoy chewing the tidbits of coconut meat.

Thumbs up Mr Coconut!

Penang Culture at Compass One

ABBEY: We had dinner at Penang Culture (Compass One). I ordered their Hokkien Mee. While waiting for the food, we were given a small basket of prawn crackers (this is chargeable).

I felt sad when the Hokkien Mee was served. It lacks appeal and the serving is small for 7 SGD. Definitely the picture was very different from the actual :) It has less sauce and less smoky flavor.

WILL: If you are missing Penang‘s good food but you do not have enough time to wander around Malaysia, drop by at Penang Culture.

Went there to try their Assam Laksa. The taste, it is closest that I got on the Penang Assam Laksa that we’ve tasted at KL. The soup is thick enough, the noodles’ texture is just perfect, but pricey in concern with the size of their serving. It feels that it lacks of fish.

Penang Culture’s Compass One branch was packed with diners. Try for yourself and let us know what is your take on this.

Disney On Ice presents Mickey's Super Celebration 2019

ABBEY: We secured a pair of Disney on Ice ticket for the last day of their show. We will be meeting Mickey and Minnie as well as the princesses so we dressed up for the royalties :)

I’m not suprised that most of the audience are kids. You can see them in Disney Princess costumes while asking their dad and mom to buy souvenirs. Quick bites like hotdogs, sandwiches, and pao are being sold with soda or coffee.

The show is great as the audience participated. You can hear the little voices sung Let It Go with Elsa and the reaction when Rapunzel soared from the ground as if flying. It was fun and I was wowed.

WILL: I saw an ad at MRT station, Singtel posted a promotion for the Disney on Ice and I took that as a sign. Haha! Since Abbey and I do not have an event to do that March, we decided to take that opportunity to see what is happening on that show.

Alighting out of the car, the little ladies were costumed as their favorite Disney princesses. It is enjoyable to watch! Pass the security area, the magic begins! All you can see are big smiles from the children and hallway are abundant of Disney’s souvenirs! Innocent and delightful aura fills up the stadium.

What is thw best part? Of course the stars of the show, Moana and Elsa! I didn’t expect that they can pull off effext like the foubtain at the courtyard, frozen staircase, and fire of Te Ka.

Recommendable activity specially if you are young at heart.
