Jogging Around Punggol and Sengkang

ABBEYWhen she went here at SG to work, we thought of how we can workout to burn those extra fats. :) We had the same idea in mind; to jog. Every week we put on our jogging attire and jog around our vicinity. We tried to put it to the next level and decided to try to explore other places while jogging. We reached Sengkang and back to our place. This routine will benefit the heart and another way to relieve stress. Run, run, run!

WILL: Who is not un need of a good excercise? Every week we see to it that we hit the road for some jog. We run around punggol and once conquered Sengkang. Pag tinatamad, dun lng kami sa recreation area or court sa baba ng unit namin.
This is a good and healthy activity to spend with my husband. :)

Pastamania Singapore

ABBEY: I ordered their baked rice and gave it to Wilma for breakfast. She liked it and she even treated me and Chat for dinner in their branch in Tanjong Pagar (CPF Bldg). Pastas and baked rice ranges from 10-20 sgd. They have penne, spaghetti, macaroni, fettuccine with different flavors to choose from. In Tanjong Pagar branch, I can see professionals conducting their meeting on this diner. It is another way to have a place other than the office meeting room to brainstorm with your peers, have breakfast, and socialize. Good thing they open early so I can get my little surprises for Wilma.

WILL: My favorite is the croissant with egg and ham, love it for breakfast. Near our office, we went at Pastamania's Robinson Road Branch for a dinner.
We ordered pizza, pasta, coffee and soda. Nothing special. Nice to try.

Junior MasterChef Australia

ABBEY: I was awed by this tv series. Imagine children aging from 7 to 12 years old are the kings and queens of kitchen kingdom. For the 50 of them, grouped by 10, the first challenge is to cook their own favourite dish, be it dessert or main course. Out of 10, only 6 will go to the next round.  They also cooked in a high school canteen in which they will served lots of students. Another challenge is to cook with their celebrity chef against another group. The 2 resident judges joined also joined the kids in the "remote challenge". The little chefs instructs the judges on headsets what to do and how to cook the dish. I wasn't able to watch all the episodes but I didn't miss the finale. Its head to head between Jack, 13-years old and Isabelle,12. The battle was divided in two parts. First is to invent a "Hatty" dish with only quail, scallop and lamb as the core ingredient. Isabella got 47 while Jack had 41. On the second part, they must copy a recipe from champion dessert chef. After more then 2 hours, Jack received 3 11/10 score for a total of 91 but that wasn't enough to beat Isabella who got only perfect 10 for 5 judges but totaled 97. As it was fun for all the contestants, it was also for me. I was able to find interest and be inspired by those little chefs to give my best when I cook. A good series from Star World.

WILL: Anak ng.. marunong na mag poach ng egg? Huwat! Mas magaling pa sa akin maghiwa at magbalat! I need to learn form these kids! I am rooting for Jack but I know the judges like Isabelle's creations.
Well whoever will be the winner, I want to be like them! Ha! Soon I will be like them.. hehe. :)
