Curry House CoCo Ichibanya

ABBEY: We saw the ad in the pathway to Somerset MRT station. It says that they serve the best Japanese curry.

The diner is located at Basement 2 of 313 Somerset. To place an order tell the staff the amount of rice, spice level of the curry and the toppings or side dish of your chosen meal. I got deep fried pork cutlet with curry spice level for kids :) The taste is good as I expected my Japanese curry to be. Crispy pork cutlet in a hot rice us a good combination. I finished my meal in 15 minutes. Thank you Chat.

WILL: We saw their ads at MRT Sommerset station, then we promised to ourselves that one of these days we will our feet to this Coco Curry restaurant and linger the taste of Japanese curry. And well, that promise and fantasy did happened and for free. Thanks Chat. Thanks NUH bonus. :)

Then we ordered, I am a Japanese cuisine addict. Oh darn, curry rice, who doesn't love those? As we go through the menu, I place an order for Chicken cutlet curry and Abbey went for Pork($12). The waitress asked us what curry, how much rice and level of curry spiciness. Darn, we need to think again. Haha. I went for their usual curry have level 1 of spiciness with 100grams of rice. The taste is awesome even Abbey and Chat agreed with me.
Located at the basement of 313 Somerset and their food is just reasonable, they are not more than $15.

Rise (Marina Bay Sands Hotel)

ABBEY: I'm only a tag-along in Wilma's company dinner. The restaurant is at Tower 1 of Marina Bay Sands. Dinner buffet is from 6:30pm until 10:30pm. On the day of our visit the Rise has a "berry" theme.

They have beetroot soup, pork with red cabbage and raspberry and berries as dessert. I feasted on fish fillets, pork bellies, roasted beef (this is very delicious) and mac and cheese. I think I had 5-6 trips on the buffet table. I filled my plate with dragon fruit and watermelon for dessert. I also had 2 cups of coffee after dinner. One person costs 68sgd++ and includes free flow of tea and coffee. Also in the buffet are bread, ice cream, chocolate fountain, sushi and sashimi, and seafoods.

WILL: We came.. We saw.. We conquered! Rise is located Marina Bay Sands lobby Tower 1. Rejoice Container staffs were rejoicing, half of the year was passed and our big boss appreciates all our efforts. He is a so appreciative and I am so thankful for having a great kind boss. This night was entitled the "Appreciation Night" and Rejoice team really bonds over the food and drinks and now you know why I am getting fatter and fatter.
Rise, as usual, like some buffet restaurant offers different cuisine, from Western, Japanese, Indian up to Singapore's local food. My favorite is the sashimi and maki roll. Their roasted beef is amazingly soft and blends perfectly with their mushroom gravy sauce. The nan is very tasty also and of course, I will not forget their ice cream that can put on some melted chocolate all-over it.
This costs $81.00 for each at dinner with unlimited tea/coffee or soda. I am thankful that we have it for free. This is a nice try but not so recommendable, it seems too expensive. Oh I almost forgot, I have TWG tea for a drink and as of now, this is the best tea I ever-ever tasted.

Egg Burger

Here we are, please to present our third entry for this campaign Daniel's campaign.

Hope, you can do this recipe too. :)

Ground Pork
Minced Onion
Minced Potato
Crushed crackers
Egg

Mix ground pork, minced onion, mince potato and crushed crackers, sprinkle some pepper and salt to taste. Mold the mixture into a patty, punch a hole in the middle. Put the patty on the hot skillet. Crack the egg into the middle once cooked, flip and cook the next side.

VERDICT
ABBEY: She said she'll cook burger for dinner. I came up with an idea that she'll fry eggs too as we have some leftover in the fridge. But never came to my mind with this kind. Sunny side up in center of a burger, innovative! The taste is better than her ordinary burger. I'll tell her to apply for patent :)
